Divergent Timeline:
Kcl-El is born on a thriving Krypton
Jack, Steve, Grant, Dane, Johnny are born on Earth. In that order.
Dane's parents die and his granddad hides the family's Ranger history from him.
Teenage Steve is abducted and genetically modified in space to be the perfect double-agent while Grant is conditioned on Earth to be the back-up plan by his family, who's secretly indebted to the galactic crime syndicate behind it all.
The forthcoming destruction of Kryptcn brings his parents to send teenage Kal off to a distant planet for safety.
Kal, having lost his memory and his way during the journey, finds his way into Earth's orbit and crashes the stealth ship Steve is being kept captive on.
Steve and Kal escape the ship together on a stolen pod and crash land in a small town farm in Kansas.
Amnesiac Kal settles in with the Kents under the alias Clark and Steve goes off looking for his family, but returns months after learning his mother passed in his absence and his best friend joined the war efforts.
Jack creates the band Spare Parts with his friends after graduation instead of joining the army like his dad wants.
Spare Parts has an opening show gig during a weekend music event being held in a large open Kansas field right outside a small farming town.
The show is postponed because of freak weather and Jack goes exploring.
Jack stumbles head first into trouble when he finds Clark and Steve trying to fight off goons from the Syndicate.
All three escape into an long since abandoned cave system that leads them to forgotten buried ruins containing access to the morphin grid.
Steve, Clark, and Jack become the original three rangers of their generation: Red, Blue, and Pink. In that order.
Jack continues on with his band, trying to juggle the rising music career with an ever growing sense of duty.
Johnny, leaves the small town he was raised in to start an acting career in Hollywood. Using his skills in martial arts and physical work to become a rising action star.
Wanting to prove his actual fighting skills, Johnny joins a fighting tournament that is secretly a ploy by the Syndicate to lore in the best young fighters and turn them into soldiers.
Johnny wins the tournament and is on the verge of being forcibly converted when he's rescued by the established three. They convince him to become the fourth Ranger when the dust settles.
Dane discovers the secret of his family lineage and the power that is held within the family heirloom he thought just to be a hunk of sharp metal.
Facing an incoming threat that can only be defeated with an ancient weapon that's been lost to the grid for some time, the four established rangers are sent out to track down the last known keeper of the sword and find Dane with his family heirloom: The Ebony Blade
Preparing for the arrival of their leader, the Syndicate fast forwards all ongoing schemes and brings Grant in as their lone evil Ranger.
Grant is positioned at the leader's shoulder, to be at their beck and call as the perfect obedient soldier/guard. One meant to throw himself in harms way if the need ever rises.
During the final battle, an untrained, unconfident Black Rcnger, Dane, fails to land the final blow and is disarmed in the scuffle.
Grant, disobeying all his conditioning, wields the sword himself in the face of the Ranger's possible defeat and slays the leader from behind. Becoming the White Ranger.
The six of them form a long running team for six years, until Jack is severely injured and forced to retire. With the others gradually passing on the mantle one by one soon after.
