I had a blast performing with Tredici Bacci at Roulette NYC. They performed their forthcoming album in it's entirety, which includes two songs written by Bacci head honcho Simon Hanes and JG Thirlwell, 'Brave New World' and 'Galaxia'. As well as a cover of the Foetus song 'I Hate You All'. Also, since 'tis the season, we performed our version of 'O Come O Come Emmanuel' which appeared on the last Tredici Bacci album. TB featured an expanded string section, and second keyboardist and Rebecca El Saleh on harp. Some videos forthcoming.
JG Thirlwell + Ensemble will be performing on Tuesday Dec 7 2021 at 8pm Roulette NYC, featuring new chamber arrangements of old and new Foetus material.
With Evan Allen on piano, Leah Asher on violin, Rebecca El-Saleh on harp, Simon Hanes on acoustic guitar/bass, Pete Moffett on percussion and JG Thirlwell on vocals.

07.21.19 JG Thirlwell had an excellent show debuting his brand new multi-channel electro-acoustic solo show Silver Mantis at Roulette on July 21 2019, as part of Roulette's 40th Season Closeout Party. Thirlwell's new set features electronics, theremin and prepared piano, with new immersive visuals created by Swedish visual artist Sten Backman. 01.25.19 I had never heard Anthony Braxton’s systems of vocal composition and performance before and was bowled over by Tri Centric Vocal Ensemble’s performance of works from Braxton’s Syntactical Ghost Trance Music System at Roulette.
04.03.18 Tak Ensemble gave an incredible performance of Mario Diaz de Leon’s Sanctuary at Roulette.
