Last time at Kettle Woods University: 

Charlie expressed her mixture of emotions toward her father by writing him an email. (Which he never received due to changing his name.) 

Freyja starting dating Jonah Powers and Charlie invited Frank along to double as a friend. 

Jamal joined the ladies at university. He and Freyja reconnected for the first time after their break-up, and agreed to stay friends. 

Charlie switched over to a psychology major and tried to convince her mother to reconsider her divorce. Allegra was not interested. 

Fortunately Frank (also the child of divorced parents) had some good advice to cheer up Charlie after her botched couples counselling attempt. 

And finally, Charlie became KWU's first grad! 

Somewhat related: university is sooooo long. I really enjoy playing it, but it doesn’t match up well with how I play my rotations, and it made the summer round (which was already dragging) drag on even longer. I might use the college adjuster to skip every other semester next time...or play longer at uni less frequently? Argh, EA, why did you have to make uni so darn complicated?!

Last time with the Swain 2 family: 

- They were very poor, and all money earned went immediately into furnishing their too-big home. There was a lot of digging, painting, and vying for promotion. - Leif schmoozed the mayor for a new job as Ambassador's Intern (meaning he's switched over to the Adventure career).  - Erika grew up and had a family limbo party for her birthday.  - Sam and Zelda officially started dating. (He later moved in with her.)  - Natasha got a job in Education.  - Leif and Natasha finally got married. The wedding was a big success!

Last time at the Davenport/Davis home: 

- Aldric proposed to his girlfriend, Sam Thomas.  - She moved in and had to quit her military job due to no military base nearby...yet.  - Charlie was rude and a brat all the time, and especially to Sam. She ran off to university early to avoid the wedding.  - Aldric and Sam got married and are already expecting their first baby.  - Allegra moved back to Pine Lake to join the new seniors’ home, and be closer to her daughter. She left her house to the happy couple (because she’s rich and retired and can do crazy things like that). 

Aldric took Sam’s name, so this is now the Thomas household.

Last time at the animal shelter: 

- Sophronia spent most of her time training her furry friends. - Cordelia came for a visit and the sisters talked about relationships, babies, and animals, of course. - Only one pet was adopted out (Cog the cat by Allegra Gorey) but plenty of walk-bys were scoped out for a new four-legged friend in the future.  - Phronsie spent a lot of time playtesting the new fun community lots downtown and picking up new dates while she was there. - William Williamson caught her on one of these dates and blew his top. (He later apologized.) - The two small dogs had two small puppies, and then Sophronia took in the pups from the seniors home, so anticipate plenty of puppy pictures this round!

It’s time again for the Bratford family! Last time... 

- Kevin’s sports bar tried being a restaurant and failed. (It’s okay, though, because I like it better as a bar.  - Jamal sneaked out, got caught, and was majorly grounded. He still managed to invite Freyja Swain over for dates and they agreed to go steady. (Though she later broke up with him upon leaving for university.)  - Monica and Kevin continued to pay lovesick attention to only one other. - Anya grew into a lovely teen with 10 nice points that haven’t yet gotten in the way of her stealing, heckling, or bossing around small children.

Last time we saw the Worthington-Rai household: 

- They were running the fire hall as an always-open business, and the customers spent most of their time dancing to the radio in the kitchen.  - Frances continued working on his eternal quest to make a zillion bricks get a toymaking badge. - Jasmine got some useless business perks.  - Life was generally uncomplicated but fun. :)

Last time with the Moritz household: 

- Eowyn introduced her son to Joshua, her new boyfriend. (Frank was thrilled.) - Frank concocted a scheme to get Guy acquainted with Guy’s granddaughter. It worked, but it also got Kiera mad at him. (She later forgave him.)  - Eowyn grew into an elder and nearly died of a cold. Luckily Frank was able to save her. - Eowyn then moved into the seniors home and Frank is now on his own in an apartment.

Last time with the Swains: 

- The garden was huge, so Thor called in his big brother Leif the Plantsim to help care for it.  - While he was visiting, Leif proposed to Natasha.  - Thor grew into a teen, Freyja scraped up her grades enough to be accepted to university, and each of them found an after-school job.  - Frejya and Jamal Bratford decided to go steady.  - Stella grew into an elder and continued working in the Repair career.  - The family was hard up for money the entire round. Selling produce to the grocery store helped, but that garden is a lot of work.
