When is round two?

Very good question, anon.

We would like to do a round two, but it depends on the interest in it. Several individuals had to back out of round one after receiving their pen pal information, and there hasn't been a lot of feedback or interaction from the group either, so that has been a bit of a discouragement.

Being a pen pal doesn't mean that you have to send a ton of expensive cards or write weekly. If you like doing that, great! I am sure your pen pal will appreciate them all. 🥰

However, just sending a quick note or even a postcard just to say Hi or that you are thinking of them, can brighten someone's day.

The point of being a pen pal is to connect with people, have fun, and maybe even make a new lifelong friend.

Writing with pen and paper offers a lot of positive benefits. Several studies have shown that expressive writing helps with healing, both physically and mentally. It affords us the opportunity to slow down and reflect, to focus on our words and what we are saying.

If there are enough individuals interested in making the commitment to being a pen pal then we could consider a round two. Please send us an ask or DM if would like to be a pen pal so that we can gauge the interest in doing another round.

Sean Appreciation Saturday on Twitter?

I read some of the tags on my “Sean Appreciation Saturday” post. And a few people mentioned doing something on Twitter. I really decided this a few days ago, which is why I only focused on tumblr. But if I decide to do another Sean Appreciation Saturday, would people also participate on Twitter?
