All the hinges and clasps are in good working order. The goldtone finishes inside is still bright and shiny (photo 4). The powder compartment is clean (photo 6). The original powder puff is intact. The cover to the powder compartment has the maker’s mark reading “Wadsworth, Made in USA.” The bottom has a satin goldtone finish with almost no wear marks that are typically found in a vintage compact (photo 7). There is some loss to the silver backing of the mirror. Part of which is in a straight line that initially gives the appearance that the mirror is cracked. But, it is not cracked (photo 5).
