I want to practice more with backgrounds this year so tried drawing route 208 in Sinnoh. But I guess it's  not too accurate to the actual route

Pokemon Diamond Ep. 17: On The Road To Hearthome City

DPN: Mt. Coronet and Hearthome City

In order to head to Hearthome City, we gotta go through Mt. Coronet.  Here lies the first encounter with Cyrus, but he doesn't do much-just talks about how the weakness of the human spirit has caused the world to go to crap.  Obvious villain much?  Anyway, I didn't actually encounter any Pokemon here, besides one Geodude.  Later on, I'll have two more tries to catch a new team member.

Route 208 is pretty short, though seeing the mountainous bridges and waterfalls is a nice change of scenery.  There are two things worthy of mention here: First is the Berry Master's house, where you can get a daily free berry and buy mulch.  Then we got some guy who gives out an Odd Keystone.  Unlike in Mt. Coronet, I caught a Pokemon here:

Ah, Hearthome City...the home of Pokemon Contests, Amity Square, a...church?  Anyway, We can't fight the gym leader, Fantina, just yet.  But Mom's here at the contest hall, and she gave me a nice tux.  The Shell Bell's nice, too-it's found in one of the buildings.

Well, time to leave for now and-oh hi, Barry. He wanted a battle, and I delivered.  And this hiker guy gave me an egg, so goodbye Bucktooth, for now.  Next stop is Veilstone City!
