ROUTE 27

Here is the previous post, about Asyndeton Island!

This route, that conects Routes 24 and 25 with Caesura Town, is a mountain path with a profound canyon salvaged with wooden bridges. There will be two paths to follow, one at the top, and another one at the base of the canyon, although ultimately you’ll have to get to the lower part to get to Caesura Town. Here you’ll find the Ruin Maniac Hut, where you will be able to get your fossils back to life. 

This route is based on the Barranchina Ravine, in the province of Teruel. Here are some reference pics:

Tessender (Tessera + Salamander) is a single stage based on the Park Güell salamander, made out of gems and tesserae. It’s a ROCK DRAGON type, and has a new ability GEM BODY, that makes him drop GEMS randomly during the battle (if you have it in your team, it will hold random gems).

There’s no story here.

Kanto Region, Route 26 Path To The Double Pokemon League

Route 26 is one of the earliest maps I ever finished, back before I made the update to the version of Essentials which overhauled the engine, so we're looking at a year and a half old or so (Yes, this map has been present since Demo 1). I recently retiled it by changing the tileset, and added some cliffs for Route 27 (Which will be in a following post). I based the design off of the GSC Variant, since it was the one I picked at the time.

There's still some room for improvement, but that's a fish for another lake.

And yes, we have The Iconic Route 26 Theme playing in the background. God that song has got to be my absolute favorite song to ever come from a Pokemon game. There was no way I couldn't include it. I'll post the sound file for it later.
