William Penn Diner, Route 40, Delaware
(Arthur Rothstein. 1939)
Originally named the Arrowhead Camp and Service Station upon opening in 1938, the motel evolved into the Arrowhead Tourist Court and later became the Arrow Head Motel. It housed travelers for decades before renting its last room in 2008. In 2012, the Columbia, Missouri Historic Preservation Commission named the Arrow Head one of the city's "Most Notable Historic Properties." It’s currently still in use and now stores/rents Budget trucks. More information here.
