I loathe the pretty boy, girls flocking around him type. The first time i saw him, he reminded me of Caesar from Princess Debut, or Shingen from Ikemen Sengoku. But he actually turns out to be a pretty decent guy, and eventually I found myself blushing. I never pick these types in otome unless I’m trying to 100% a game, so he was a nice change of pace. Ikki’s charm is not in his *INTENSE RADIANT BEAUTY*, it’s in his reflection on it, and how it affects his life.

And there you have it! You’ve seen every side there is to Ikki. I’m curious to know how other people felt while playing through his route. His character left me a bit conflicted, and i stubbornly wanted to know what all the hype was surrounding him and kind of answered my own question in the end. It’s hard to wonder as the player if he really LIKES you, or if hes just into you because you're the only one whose not laying all over him begging to be his girlfriend. It’s just a game, i know, so OBVIOUSLYYYYY, he really does like our protagonist. But still! I felt that worry as if I was in her shoes. I guess that’s what makes him such a great character!
