“New guy’s moved in,” Mick said, breezing through Rowan’s door without bothering to knock. Boundaries between the two were a strange, fuzzy line, undefinable-- easily stepped over. He flopped onto the bed, propping his head up with a hand as he studied the interior of the room. It was a mirror to his own room, his with the pictures plastered on one wall, depicting his travels, his cousins, friends across the globe. Soccer equipment and accolades filled surfaces and corners, as did racks of clothing and piles of accessories. Where Mickey had a disorganized mess, Rowan was as well, with gym shorts and three half finished water bottles on his bedside table. Dark eyes sought out his roommate’s and his lips curved, “He’s cute, but I thought I’d leave him alone for a bit to get settled in. I’m trying not to spook him.”

✨Rowan
✨Rowan doesn't smoke, but he does privately carry a lighter on him that he hides with about the same level of anxious "unlearning catholic school" behavior as someone who does smoke. Ever since being locked in on his Mothmanic transformation, fire and light have had a calming, almost hypnotic effect on him. He doesn't necessarily like leaning into this coping mechanism, and he hates what it implies- but, well, it works.
