It's everyone in Henford's favorite holiday, Farm Day. The entire Hammond-Murphy family spent their day out on the farm showing their appreciation to the animals and crops that have sustained their household.
With Rowan and Weston making their relationship official earlier this summer, they decided it was time for him to move out of Cillian and Saoirse’s spare room and into Weston’s place. Cillian helped his little brother pack up all of his belongings, just like he did back in San Myshuno, and both brothers were feeling extra emotional about it. Rowan is still so grateful his big brother was so quick to open up his home to him despite just becoming a father and having so much to do around the farm already, and Cillian was so proud of how far his little brother has come since moving back to Henford and he’s overjoyed knowing his brother is happy, healthy, and has a loving partner. And although his new home is just a hop and skip up the road from their house, Morning is still too young to understand and was so sad her favorite uncle is leaving.
It’s the last full day of the big Granite Falls trip, so after breakfast Weston asked Rowan to join him on a hike. And almost as if Mother Nature knew these two were about to enter the woods for a proposal, they were greeted by a group of monarch butterflies which happen to be their favorite. They hiked for a while, Weston anxiously following Rowan’s lead since he knows this forest well, until they finally reached a clearing where they could sit and watch the clouds roll by together. They eventually got back up to start their long hike back to the cabin, and when Rowan began walking off Weston politely held onto his arm to stop him from going further, looked him dead in the eye, and dropped down to one knee and popped the question. Rowan knew it was coming at some point this trip after accidentally finding the ring in their luggage, but that still didn’t make this moment any less exciting or perfect to him.
Since arriving at the farm Rowan has been feeling in much higher spirits, who knew some fresh air and a support system could make such a difference? With summer's arrival he's decided to start each day with a jog, and while out this morning he noticed someone moving into the old farmhouse across the way. He let Cillian know when he got home and they decided to head over after breakfast to offer a helping hand. When they arrived to find their new neighbor outside unloading his truck, Rowan could not believe how cute he was. He was so happy and bubbly and just a ray of sunshine. He was quite awkward too, except he didn't seem to care at all about what him or Cillian may think. Rowan said all of three words to Weston because he was just so infatuated listening to him speak. He couldn't help but immediately think to himself that someone as sweet and unapologetically themselves as Weston would never like someone like him. Rowan stood there, in silence, drowning in negative thoughts, until he was snapped back to reality by Weston just outright asking for his number so he can show him around Henford. Rowan could not believe it, he felt like he had to beg and plead with his past partners to act like they want anything to do with him, and here's this sunshine boy just.... blatantly being nice to him in broad daylight.

posting this so incredibly out of order since i completely forgot about this gameplay, but Cillian and Saoirse brought Rowan and Weston out to celebrate their engagement their last night in Granite Falls.
It’s the first day of summer so as it continues to get warmer in Henford on Bagley along with Morning growing like a weed and gaining mobility, Saoirse and Cillian have been spending a lot more time outside with her. It was a particularly beautiful day, so Cillian figured while he has Rowan’s extra set of hands around that he could help him get a head start on building a treehouse for Morning.
It’s Rowan’s first Pride not being celebrated in San Myshuno, and although he was not initially looking forward to today since he assumed he would be spending it alone, he has not been able to get Weston off of his mind since meeting him and has been battling with himself to build up the courage to ask him out. After a little pep talk from Cillian and help with his makeup from Saoirse, he was finally feeling confident enough to just go for it. He’s been texting with Weston since meeting, but something just took over him and he was feeling brave enough to head across the way to ask him in person. Weston excitedly agreed, so they head out to Rowan’s favorite club on the outskirts of Windenburg. Upon arriving and getting a couple drinks they stood and chatted for a while, Weston as happy and bubbly as ever and Rowan still absolutely infatuated with him. When the music blaring from the dj booth changed songs, Weston’s eyes lit up and he instantly grabbed Rowan’s hand and dragged him to the dance floor. Rowan usually isn’t one for dancing, but Weston’s joy and enthusiasm was contagious, so regardless of how horribly he danced he happily joined him. They danced for a while, over time inching in closer and closer to each other, until they shared their first kiss right in the middle of the dance floor. Definitely not Rowan’s first kiss in a nightclub, but this time couldn’t possibly feel any more different. Something about Weston felt so special to Rowan, and unlike his past emotionally unavailable partners, it actually feels like Weston reciprocates the same feelings back.
After hours on the road the Hammond-Murphy family finally arrived at their cabin in Granite Falls. Since it was already a bit late everyone spent the evening getting settled in while Cillian grilled up some food on the porch. Rowan excitedly snuck out to join his brother as Weston finished up unpacking to tell him about what he accidentally found in one of their bags. Looks like Rowan is going to leave this vacation an engaged man!! Cillian tried to keep it down to not alert everyone in the house, yet could hardly contain his excitement for his little brother as the pair giggled like kids outside together. After dinner Rowan and Weston stayed behind at the cabin with Morning and tucked her in for the night so Cillian and Saoirse could spend some time together out by the campfire. Cillian couldn't bear to hold it in, so he quietly let Saoirse know about the upcoming proposal and she was just as excited as him to hear the big news. And finally, after eating one too many roasted marshmallows the pair head inside to enjoy a little bit of quiet time by the fireplace together before bed.
