Raffle Rental | Qhuinn&Rowan

Rowan! Qhuinn had to smile when she was told who she had ‘won’ in that silly raffle. She had only signed up with the intention of helping a friend or someone who really needed a break, and she was excited to know she’d be catching up with an old pal. It had been ages since she’d seen the other and was sure they would have tons to catch up on while eating everything in sight and just nerding out in general. Qhuinn could certainly think of worst ways to spend a week! In preparation of Ro’s arrival, the wolf of course went overboard. By the time her arrival was announced with a bark from Remus followed by the ringing of her doorbell, a lavish nachos bar was spread across the kitchen table. Margaritas were chilled and ready, and ingredients for a fruit pizza waited in the fridge. They were going to start the week with a bang!

“Coming!” Qhuinn called over Remus’s excited greetings, nudging her way past the Samoyed to open the door. “Hey stranger! C’mon in, please” She smiled welcomely, waving the guard off before he decided to lay an unnecessary finger on Rowan.

Cowan - Magnus/Rowan

The week hadn’t honestly been all that bad.  Yes, outside of the administration building had been its own sort of denial hell, but for the most part?  Rowan really didn’t have any complaints.

Until she was handed her final costume.

“A cow?  A fucking cow?” came the disbelieving scoff as the guard handed the package over, the human growling as she stomper her way over to a changing area to get into the ridiculous getup.  “I swear if someone tries to fucking milk me …” came the gripe under her breath, all but growling her frustration.  Jesus, she enjoyed pet play, still hanging tight to the kitten tails, ears and collars she’d been gifted over the years when she’d been a Mistress.  But a fucking cow?

Usually she could maintain something of a firm grip on her inner brat, but it was on full display as she moseyed around the quad and tried to pick at the stitching of the ridiculous hand coverings she’d been given.  Couldn’t make her wear it if they were destroyed, right?  Though her efforts were distracted when someone approached, the magic demanding a “Trick or treat, Master?” to come through gritted teeth as she made every effort not to meet their eyes.  “Pretend I have udders and I scream bloody murder.  Treat my tits like they’re udders and I’ll - do even worse, I don’t freaking know.”

Magnus had initially decided to stay away from this event, using the time to instead work on his classes and tweak some of his lesson plans.  The longer the event went on, Magnus finally decided he owed it to his slave friends to help them out where he could.

Heading down to the pet play station, Magnus wandered around the various groups and made sure that those that needed some assistance got it.  Helping a pair adjust the collar they were using, he heard a familiar voice complaining about her costume.

He walked up behind her as she addressed another Master.  "This one's mine," he interrupted, sliding up behind Rowan and wrapping his arms around her.  He glared at the other Master until he left, chuckling afterwards and leaning in to kiss Rowan's cheek.  "And how's my favorite Cowan?  Rocow?  Whatever, you know what I mean."

{Text-Uriel}: I would say a negative 5. Gorging on food before potentially strenuous physical activity isn't really a good idea.

homecoming - Avery/Rowan

Rowan felt raw.  Stretched too thin by emotions that she, as always, refused to express.  She’d expected to return to the island feeling like she was coming back home, to be utterly excited to be with her friends and lovers again.  But as Noah liked to constantly tell her - she was the dumbest genius on earth.

The day had been ruled by emotion after emotion, a roller coaster of relentless pain and pure joy, full of dips and turns and loops.  At least some sense of self-preservation had peeked its head out, because she managed to beat curfew by fifteen whole minutes.  A stark 180 from when she’d once poked a dead body with a stick.  She was waiting in line to be let into her cell when she felt the approach, refusing to turn around and see another familiar face and feel another burst of erratic emotions.  If she sounded cold, it was from the uncertainty that if it was someone she knew, it might be another relationship changed due to her collar.

“I’m so sorry, we’re closed for the day.  Please come back tomorrow when it doesn’t feel like I’ve been raked over the coals for twelve hours.  Sir, Miss, Master, if that applies.”  She was not going to get punished her first day just for forgetting to use a title, nope.  

Avery had no idea what was coming for him next but he was glad that he was coming up on the end of the day.  It gave him an excuse to turn his phone off and just exist without having to worry about anyone else sending him off to whip his friends or crawl naked through every business on the island.

As he approached his cell, his head cocked to the side, confused why the person in front of him seemed so familiar.  It wasn't until she spoke that it clicked for him.  "Rowan?"  The confusion was evident in his voice before he got close enough to make out that it was indeed his friend.  "Rowan!"  Running forward, Avery threw his arms around her, completely disregarding the fact that they were both scantily clad.  "Oh my gosh, I missed you so much!  It's so good to see you again!"

To say Cherry had any idea of what was going on with the girl crying on her bed, pointing to a laptop and saying a phrase she’d only ever heard from her big brother, would be wrong. She had not a clue. But the girl was crying and obviously incredibly upset about something. Maybe someone had broken up with her and offered a pretty terrible sign off. 

Cherry chewed her lip before entering the cell, a slave that was housed just a few doors down from Rowan, and she couldn’t help but want to help. She wouldn’t be able to tell what was wrong with a touch, now that her psychic powers were bound. She’d just have to do this the old fashion way... which she wasn’t very good at.

“It’s okay...” Cherry walked in, sitting next to Rowan on the bed and tentatively put an arm around the girl’s shoulders for a hug. She looked at the laptop, but there was no email from some coward or facebook message, which was even worse... 

“Is that Ted Danson?”

Liam hauled the large box up onto his shoulder, and then was able to secure another large one beneath his other arm, before finally making his way towards the door and through it, “Some people shouldn’t own trucks, I shouldn’t own muscle, I swear you only use me for that anyway,” The guard offered as he passed by Rowan. 

He was smirking of course, suggesting he was joking--one of the slight differences since his last stay on the island. He was ... warmer. No one would classify him as nice or friendly, but he allowed himself to be a bit less gruff, though the roughness around the edges was still evident. Maybe even more so in some ways. 

He set the box under his arm onto the floor, then set the other one down next to her, “Where to?”

Dart Me || Wade & Rowan

This was not the way the vampire had imagined things going, when he first arrived here. Despite not really being able to do anything about it, he could feel that inner anger inside of him. He knew it wasn’t her fault, the woman he was now with, but he couldn’t help but shoot her a little glare. He figured that was normal, though, considering their circumstances. “Just do what you gotta do, yeah?” he grumbled. “And, let’s try and get this over with...” He didn’t really look at her, didn’t ask her what her name was.

To be honest, in this moment? He really didn’t care. He hated the feeling of being helpless and unable to fend for himself. It wasn’t like him.

The sun was dipping low, sinking into the horizon, spilling breathtaking colors across the skyline. Sky blue slowly deepening, melting into the warm, rich golds, highlighted by delicate outlines of pinks and purples. Wispy white clouds were peppered here and there while the tide slowly crept in, coming to him. Always. It was exquisite and he had to wonder how many people who lived on the island actually stopped and took a moment to drink in the beauty that nature provided. The British Professor stood there perfectly still his hands sunk into a pair of tan chinos he’d rolled up around his calves already. He’d donned a light denim button up, which the sleeves were already rolled up on and he chose to leave it unbuttoned, giving just a sample of his bare, broad chest. Hennessy was bare footed and enjoying the grainy texture of the sand shifting over his toes idly while he waited for her.

      Rowan.

There was a lively, spirited vibe about her. she seemed like she would be a lot of fun to know, to hang out with and at this point in time that’s what Hennessy wanted -fun.
