i have decided on custom nicknames and icons for my s/i and like. most of the obey me characters (by which i mean like. the brothers and the primary dateables)

Extra context, Octariians is my username on some video game things (though i have a few others i cycle through, i havent been consistent for yearsss) and i imagine simeon is like my grandma and just uses the last name to add a note about how he knows the person. He knows me because I'm friends with luke. and Barbatos names the people in his phone after their favourite kinds of tea if he likes them enough
Honestly I don't have anything off of the top of my head for group chat names. Though I can imagine me, beel and belphie being "the sleepy, the eepy and the hungry" or something dumb like that. theres an ongoing war over "the anti lucifer league" because when im in a good mood with him i keep changing it and satan and belphie get cross.
Though I'd imagine my gc with lucifer and diavolo is something really silly and cheesy but changes regularly based on the whims of dia and i (much to lucifers chagrin) . we love to come up with dumb nicknames too, especially ones related to notable groups of three. (i can totally see us being 'the starter trio' with dia as charmander, me as bulbasaur and luci as squirtle for like a really long time)

btw diavolo and i have matching furbies that are loosely themed after one another so we can hold them when we miss each other. we dress them up for dates and he takes photos of them for his silly little devilgram account where he has a very dedicated following. i have a clear little pocket in my backpack where mine sits so everyone can see it and his has a little baby carrier type thing that he forces barbs to carry around.
mine is named deejay (diavolo junior), his is lilro (lil rowan) or something like that <3

Okay so along with my demon and angel lore, i also have different headcanons about how each species interacts with and takes in the world around them and how it may affect how they physically present.
in this case, demons, being inherently self-centered, sort of self-actualise in a way that means the way they see themselves (and the way the ones closest to them see them) may start to manifest physically (i imagine this would heavily effect how a demon's 'sin' is decided too. They can all cycle through different ones but there is one primary one that manifests more than the others and thats decided by what they pick up the most of during their formative years)
Both species do also take in the Vibes immediately around them to an extent (im sure ill have more to say on this at some point but its not a fully fleshed out idea yet) . it's also very affected by a sort of in-universe rule about how good vibes/emotions rise, and bad ones sink, and also just how their bodies process it. Think of angels like a sort of weak magnet but with a really high radius, think of demons like one with a strong pull but short range, if that makes sense? It also plays into how both species mature differently. (I do also feel like there is definitely a place for humans in this narrative, whether that be they are the Vibe Curators or they can passively pick up certain aspects of it or whatever)
angels are more sort of... theyre like Vibe Sponges. they just take in bits of everything. the reason the celestial realm is designed the way it is is so that each layer has full and open access to the sunlight, and the open air and all the celestial bodies, and all the good, strong vibes that those things bring along with them.
ANYWAYS where this becomes relevant in the angel narrative is that Rowan is the first fully fledged angel to ever take up residence in the Devildom. And, being a stronger Vibe Magnet (as i so eloquently put it) he's much more susceptible to the bad stuff that lingers in the devildom.
This, along with the fact that angels require sunlight to live (both because of the power it has as like The Celestial Body and the warmth and vitamins it provides) causes Ro to become sick.
like. really, really sick. like his feathers are withering and his halos are flickering out and hes coughing up black sludge and hey maybe this isnt such a normal thing anymore perhaps we should see someone about it.
In my canon, lucifer was the main archangel who would teach about this sort of stuff in the celestial realm. michael doesnt care to and simeon sort of figures its an instinctual knowledge or whatever (and combined with the fact that ro grew up in what is considered a very Rural level of the celestial realm) just means that it sort of goes undiscovered for a while.
anyways. who knows if i kill off my s/i . ill never tell. you just have to read the fic if i ever decide to drop it /hj

honestly i think diavolo would be delighted by little things like furbies and tamagotchis (and by extension pokewalkers), he thinks they're so cute and fun and before barbatos can even realise, let alone put a stop to it, dia and i are co-parenting like eight billion little artificial creatures who we love so so very much.
Diavolo enjoys your company, very much so. The both of you could do anything and he would have the best time of his long, long life because he has you by his side.
Sometimes, Diavolo would just turn on some classic music to slowly dance to, approach you with a playful smile while reaching his hand out to you.
"May I have this dance, my precious star?"
And so, the both of you dance slowly, intimate. One of his hand resting on your waist, while his other hand holds yours gently. In case you can't dance, Diavolo would teach you so and he would totally don't mind if you accidentally step on his feet.
Diavolo wants you to be by his side forever, just like he will be by yours. And on the day of the anniversary of your birth, he will do anything to make your wishes come true while looking so lovingly into your eyes, saying; "Happy birthday, my wonderful Rowan.. I love you so much, and I will do anythin' to make all of your wishes come true! Just say the word~", ending his sentence with a wink and a gentle kiss on your forehead.

🌌- what was your first date like?
Ayato - honestly, the way I imagine ayato and I is mostly in an arranged marriage type thing (I have a differently designed sona for it and everything khsjfsdj). our first 'date' i guess would be considered the boat trip back from watatsumi island (where the wedding took place) and we drank ginger tea and chatted about folklore and mythology <3
Capitano - i've never really thought about it much, but i'd imagine our first date would probably be some sort of nature walk/hike where we just chat whenever the mood strikes us and i point out cool stuff i see while he just nods politely <3
Diavolo - i. also imagine being in an arranged marriage with him in most scenarios, but outside of those scenarios, in an AU in which im just a normal exchange student, i think our first 'date' would be where im infodumping excitedly to someone else (probably lucifer, satan or solomon) about how dia's demon form looks like it might be a dragon and im all fascinated by that and barbatos overhears and relays it to dia, who then invites me to an afternoon tea and tells me im allowed to ask whatever i like <3 though even given that opportunity it Would still turn into me infodumping about dragons
Lucifer - he's a very traditional sort, he's very careful to make sure none of our regular hangouts could be misconstrued as dates until both of us are entirely ready (which id totally misread as him friendzoning me and be sad about). but the first date he makes a reservation at a nice restaurant and works really hard to make it this Whole Memorable Thing but honestly i still consider our first date to be that time he let me pace around his study and infodump about my favourite book series for 40 minutes while he nodded politely and did paperwork.

Ayato - there's a particular set of lines from 'Inventor's Daughter' by Branches that just resonates so hard with the arranged marriage fic/au i have laid out and it makes me SO insane (/pos)
theres something extraordinarily perfect to me about the "A white flag torn from a wedding gown" line, especially considering my sona's whole gender situation in this fic and the fuckery surrounding that. this au/fic holds a very dear place in my heart and honestly i need to keep writing it because i love it so much <3
Capitano - Black Bear (by Black Bear) sort of gives me him vibes, and the kind of wistfulness and envy the singer has towards the bear just. vibes. and also the way i write him. he is literally a black bear. so thats kind of funny
Diavolo - ok i have a few songs that vibe with this ship but there's a specific one that gave me SUCH brainrot recently about an au in which he and i are like hades and persephone and theres just SUCH a vibe and aesthetic surrounding it that makes me INSANE. Diavolo - again, i mostly imagine arranged marriage, though the first time they meet would be Before that, during some like fancy soiree or whatever, i dunno. other than that, just the exchange program
Lucifer - exchange program. i latched onto him like a remora because i could sense his autism from across the room and he just kind of took it

Ayato - the estate beloved <3 but also i could see us having a holiday home in liyue, since its where we went for our (very belated) honeymoon and we liked it a lot !!

Diavolo - I think he'd be very emotionally attached to the Demon Lord's Castle but I could also see us getting a sort of smaller, more modern style house closer to the main bulk of the Devildom where we end up spending a lot of our time.
Lucifer - He's very attached to the House of Lamentation and despite all his complaints he and his siblings are pack bonded and if they're separated they'll all die of loneliness and broken hearts (and also his siblings are too dumb to survive more than a few days without him), but I could see us having basically the inverse of Diavolo's in which we get a small place in the human world or something that we can stay in for a few days at a time just to get away from things!
