6) Most famous person I've met: nerd alerts will go off all over the country... When I was in 5th grade, I went to the Star Wars convention in Indianapolis. My dad is a super fan, so he ended up being pretty good friends with a few of the actors and hung out at their tables the whole time. I met the guy who played Darth Maul (ep 1), the guy who play General Grievous (ep 3), and the blue girl, whose name I can't remember (ep 2, 3). Yep. 

12) What I'm doing tomorrow: school, homework (maybe- that's still up in the air), talking my dad into taking me to get a pedicure before prom on Friday, and a take-home test from English class.

13) Most embarrassing moment: Uhhh... I was in PE class in 6th grade doing sit ups, and I farted. I tried to pass it off on the kid next to me, but the teacher laughed and called me out. It was traumatizing.

21) A reason I've lied to a friend: last year, pretty much a whole class of kids was cheating on our weekly quizzes and getting away with it pretty systematically. My class ratted them out to the teacher. Obviously, the teacher punished them, even if it was just by cutting off their way of cheating. When asked if I did it, I lied about it, because I didn't want to be shunned or whatever- it tanked a lot of people's grades once they couldn't cheat. I regret lying, but I'm glad we did it, because there are few things I hate more than a cheater.

:( i'm sorry your coaches are leaving. my "big," the girl who essentially taught me how to row, is graduating this year and i can almost guarantee i will never see her again and it just makes me want to cry... goodbyes are the worst

I know I'm going to be watching the end of the year video and be a wreck seeing this years photos go by...and then when I have to say goodbye to my favorite coach, I know I'm gonna lose it lol and I know she'll look at me like I'm crazy

The one thing I hate about sports is how much it sucks when your team is all so close and then people graduate We're both gonna be wrecks

But neosporin burns! :( And in August, none of the stress will matter and you will be shivering with sadness/excitement as you go off to whatever school you were meant for. And you will love it, or you won't, and if you don't you can transfer! Its easy to get stressed out about college, but I got into my top choice school, ended up at my SIXTH choice for financial reasons, and although its not perfect, I love it! You will rock the interview, just remember that you will end up where you belong :D

You have strips of skin peeling off your hands and you think Neosporin burns? Psycho.

As for the rest... I'll file it all under "Reasons I love Dana (1,000,001: encouragement)".

I just keep reminding myself that they've chosen me twice- once out of a pool of thousands to apply for the fellowship, next out of a pool of 500 to be interviewed. So they see something in me that they want. I just don't know what it is.

Haha they are. The old man that called me Ruth used to give me glass antique pieces  filled to the brim with pennies as I walked by his house as a kid. Along with bags of apples.
