I would have figured the problem comes from the g in Tipping. Since if you write ティ that makes ti, so you'de be ティッピング (Tippingu).
Oh the gu isn’t a problem for people, they automatically do that with English words, it’s a huge probably in class actually ^_^;; Katakana Eigo as we say eheh
But while Ti is written ティ it’s not really a sound that people can actually say, especially older people, since the small kana thing is more recent and it’s not a sound that’s used in Japanese, while “gu” is. So spelling it isn’t a problem, it’s saying it as “Ti” rather than “chi” that’s the issue for mouths and people reading it as Ti or even ティ ^_^
