Time Changes People || Sal & Rox
It had been a while. Time passed--a lot of time. Students grew up, seasons changed, and Salazar didn't look any worse for the wear. One day, perhaps, he would give someone his secret. But now, when he was testing things out, just living and attempting to thrive in a world he never wanted--
Wants. Desires. There was only one reason for Salazar to be around Hogwarts anymore, as he was completely devastated with it's standings. Now that Roxanne had graduated, had gone off to do her own thing and left her childish whims next to him in the dungeons... Salazar was gone from Hogwarts.
He was done, about. He was ready to live out the rest of his days, to end them finally. He'd seen just about everything, done everything, and failed in the most backbreaking of ways. Failed, time and time again.
There were very few people that could just enter his home. Very few people that the door would unlock for, as if the house simply understood that Salazar held them very dear. So when footsteps were heard coming from the entrance hall of his manor, Salazar went to investigate, a slew of faces running through his mind.
"Roxanne?" Utmost disbelief held his tone of voice. He'd not seen or heard from her in too long. It's great to see you. Where have you been? I've missed you. He couldn't bring himself to say anything that he wanted to.
