This is Zuri’s original verse, where she suffered much abuse at the hands of her mad scientist of a father. He conducted thousands of horrific experiments on Pokémon of all shapes and sizes, Zuri continuing his work long after her eventual escape from his strangling grasp.

When she joined Natsuki and Team Marionette, Zuri tossed her old name aside along with any lingering attachment towards her father.

1.) My OC Akane is the only other one that understands what's going on. She can see the body horror that Noa undergoes, and even suffers through some changes of her very own.

3.) That's a bit of a surprise, but... it's implied fairly early on that Mimi is to blame. The curse she placed on Noa has something to do with her murdered sister, though not for the reason you'd think.
