“Roxannnneeee~!” Halcyon sang out, having spotted his best friend bobbing down the hallway in front of him. He knew that she had to have heard that song sung at her time and time again, but he was fairly certain he’d get a pass. He bounced over to her, beaming as wide as his lips would let him. He slung an arm around her neck. “Hello, my dear.”

“M’ dear,” Halcyon said, coming up behind Roxie, lifting her up, and spinning her around lightly. “I’ve finally found you. Didn’t know you’d be so hard ta locate. I hope ya weren’t tryin’ ta dodge me,” he teased. He knew she wouldn’t do that. Certainly not to him.
