smallest of tristamp thoughts but tbh I really like the thought of Knives’ Actual Name being just Nai, primarily for the fact that in japanese, nai 無い (ない) is like. The negation of/denial of existence of a something, or when it’s used as -nai is often intended to negate or indicate the absence of something, and it feels very thematically in line with Knives as a character

LRB: literally there is so much cool stuff abt our MotW campaign and I post abt it so infrequently but I swear I am thinking about it 24/7, if anything good came of 2020 it literally was starting this campaign
turns out when u play a campaign set in the early 00’s in ur backwater hometown that IRL is subject to some gruesome realities and weird phenomena/ has a lot of liminal spaces it makes for a REALLY fun space to play in
sprinkling in elements of otherworldly (namely Fae) interference but also interference from divine beings à la American Gods just. AAAAAAA!!
anyways if u wanna see content from it ever I always try to tag it with Celestial Point, as that’s our tentative name for the campaign
