My other complaint about this series tho is the foreshadowing is too clear. And the protagonist, for being an Oxford grad student, is clueless. Between the tattoo situation and the most recent dropped clue, and she doesn’t even wonder at it.

She is not that dense. 🙄

Don’t make it dark academia and then make the main characters seem clueless to the clues just to make your plot have continuity. 🤷‍♀️ Bury the clues a little deeper and keep the characters on edge and figuring things out.

I guess I now know who the murderer is, mid book 2 out of 3. 😏
