One of the most heartbreaking bits of acting in Hollywood imo comes from Jake Picking. When Henry sits at his table and talks to him in the last episode, you can see Roy start to compress into a little ball, trying to take the least amount of space as possible. His head hangs lower, the smile-no, the sunshine he exudes disappears. There’s something sad about how a big man like Rock Hudson is made small by his abuser.
