This episode is a whumpy goldmine, I tell you. Don’t ask me how I found it as I speak absolutely zero German. Lol. ( WATCH HERE )
From what I’ve gathered, there’s a bit of jealousy over the attention of the lady doctor shown here, and Niklas gets badly injured when he shoves her out of the way of a car... his ribs are shattered, so he’s supposed to stay as still as possible and he spends almost the whole episode writhing in pain and passing out. There’s even a delightful scene where he tries to sit up (while talking to the doctor he’s fighting with) and ends up passing out again and (possibly?) puncturing a lung. Afterwards, he’s taken to surgery and ends up flatlining... don’t worry, though. He survives. ;)
