When they’ve barely woken, and the first word they whisper is the name of their  loved one in a questioning tone.. Bonus point if they insist on checking to see if they’re okay, even though they can barely stand..

From the German series Anna und die Liebe, Jonas and his newly wedded wife are held captive for over 7 episodes straight before being found by their friends and hospitalized here. At some point they are held in a large fridge where they slowly weaken and pass out due to hypothermia before being saved… Too many scenes to GIF so I’d suggest you check those out.
