[AUDIO OF FOOTSTEPS WALKING AND DOOR SLAMS.]

[Al Green walks towards the horn players.]

ALRIGHT, GUYS... I GOT AN IDEA... BEFORE I SAY “LET’S STAY TOGETHER” AND GOING INTO THE 1ST V. I WANT Y'ALL TO GIVE ME A SOUND LIKE THIS…[ IMITATES SOUND.]
[THEY TRY TO PLAY THE WAY HE IMITATES IT]
Al Green:
YEAH, THAT’S IT! NOW! I WANT Y'ALL TO DO A SECOND LOOP AND TAKE AN OCTAVE DOWN.
[THEY PLAY SECOND LOOP] YEAH GUYS! HEY MITCH!!
Willie Mitchell:
THAT’S SOUNDS GREAT! IT’S NICE SLOW AND GROOVIN’
