Tonight the moon was hidden behind the clouds and Shu lay in the grass near the lake. He'd been gone from home for a while now. It's not like anyone at home would miss him anyway. This was better. He'd gotten too close to that human. Her blood was delicious, but Laito's scent was strong on her. He'd left her to her fate. Maybe she would die; maybe she would live. It was better for her to be around Laito than him. Everything that got close to him suffered.

He'd found an old shack to live in. The condition was terrible, but it was a place to sleep. By now he'd been gone for about a week. A part of him wondered about the girl...but he was better off alone. Even if she did amuse him and remind him of a friend he once had. He closed his eyes, intending to sleep, not knowing the said girl, now transformed into one of their kind, had decided to see the lake tonight.

“Oh I’m sorry. I’m Yui. Komroi Yui. I...well I live with Laito-kun and Kanato-kun.” Yui knew it wasn’t her fault but she couldn’t help but apologize on their behalf. Knowing full well they would never see what they were doing as wrong.

“Even so...I still feel I should apologize for them.”

     The assistant corrected her hold on her binder, her eyes were unwilling to move from the stranger’s face. As she patted her grey suit vest, Sophie shrugged, “Miss, it’ll take quite a lot for that to occur. However, you shouldn’t say that.” She cleared her throat, realizing the boundaries she may be intruding on. No matter, she reasoned, something felt very off. 

   “Do you need to take a seat--? You look exhausted.” The woman was quick to grab for a chair and she pulled it along. She waved her hand out to the unoccupied seat. “I can get you some water if you’d like.”

“It’s true you know... Grey is so much cooler and incredibly attractive.” Almost drools a little while daydreaming. “Eheh..”

“You think that too?” He wailed in despair. “I swear I can be cool and attractive too!” He stops dead in his tracks as he caught on to Alice’s daydream. “AAaaaahh! No! stop thinking such shameless things! Spare me your daydreams Alice.” He gonna end up puking if she continues.

Azusa was incredibly happy.

Finally getting the okay, Ruki had agreed it was time to take Eve. With no one around, they had snatched her from the garden. Azusa felt a bit bad that they all had to grab her, but she was a bit of a fighter and they couldn't have any slip ups. With ease, Yui was knocked out and brought to their mansion. Ruki had informed her that this was her new home and she was not allowed to leave. Once he explained this and some other house rules, he had her randomly choose a keeper by drawing a card. She'd picked Azusa's and they'd left the two alone.

cont: Feeling the other side of the door become locked since their school was pretty much over for the night. Yui began panicking and turned pale before turning behind her to see Shuu getting all cozy in the storage closet. He can’t be serious?! 

If they didn’t do anything, they’d be stuck in the closet until morning… or night! Since the school didn’t start until the late evenings. “S-Shuu! Shuu! Please get up! We have to get out of here.” Getting on her knees she began shaking his shoulder to try and wake him. This was going to be a problem, Shuu could sleep through anything and always did things the way he preferred. If she couldn’t convince him then she really was going to be in trouble.

Ugh, did she have to shake him like that? He was tired. What kind of idiot had locked them in any way? "How are we supposed to do that? We're locked in." He yawned. "Might as well sleep until someone comes."

Subaru was grabbing an apple from the fridge. Human food usually tasted like shit, but apples were okay. Biting into it, he was surprised when a new scent entered the room. No not new exactly...different. As he turned his head, he caught the sight of a girl he'd once met, only she was much paler now and her face was far less expressional.

"Hmph...so you made your choice," he said to the female vampire.
