i meant to post this in December to celebrate the holidays. i also meant to color this. sometimes we don't get what we want.

also, i'm realizing this is the first look at Lear as the Beast! the concept in mind is that the curse involved being fused with Hoopa.

and being in its Unbound state, Lear has to fight to keep himself sane – keep his humanity – against Hoopa's chaotic power. i feel his temper can play a part in accidently setting it off sometimes.

In the years since Pasio's establishment and subsequent flourishing growth, Cheren, like many other trainers, has opted to return back home and visit the island routinely as a vacation spot over holidays.

In preparing to depart, however, a catastrophic error with the island's weather systems strikes, causing a total white-out blizzard across the entire island - making it nigh on impossible to leave without the help of a certain little portal-wielding trickster. Though in a stroke of luck, he finds himself stuck in the villa of a close friend. The island's prince - Lear.

Even still, there's something different in the air. A silent melancholy bringing an inescapable tension almost everywhere.

But...it's fine to ignore...at least for the day or so he'd remain stuck there...right?
