Valta (VNN) - The royal press office released a new official portrait of the Queen in celebration of her birthday today. The photograph, taken in the autumn ballroom, features the monarch appropriately dressed in her preferred blue with the badge of the north star on her chest and Queen Tuuli's Crown atop her head.

Valta (VNN) - Thousands of Suvian citizens and others from around Maritrea descended upon the capitol this weekend for the annual Pride Celebrations. The Queen's uncle, the venerable Prince Rasmus, led the traditional procession around Valta Circle accompanied by his long time partner, activist Aapo Keto, and the ambassador from Viridis, Dom Caspian Novari. The joyful event was then capped off by an electrifying performance from pop princess Fiia Mattila.

Kal: "Of course it is! I am not sure why anyone would think I'd joke about something like that!"
Karo: "You have told a different story before and one that was less - well one that didn't put our Queen in a questionable light."
Kal: "I am not sure what you mean by that, I think it's a rather sweet tale of our first interaction. A bit awkward but that's expected in those circumstances."
Karo: "You said you felt you couldn't say no to her request. That seems a bit unsavory don't you think? Makes it seem like you were afraid that things may change for you or your family if you said no."
Kal: "That's not what I meant by that at all. It was a joke! A bit of color! I love my wife and I assure you, in our over twenty years together I have never felt trapped or coerced into anything at all. I chose this life when I chose her. I was an off-hand remark, nothing more."
