I’m so grateful to have become one of your closest friends these pat few months. I’ve noticed while visiting you that there are so many portraits of your mother, but not nearly enough capturing you, so hopefully this painting helps you to figure out your place in this crazy world of ours.

Happy Holidays, Zoe!

I know perhaps this isn’t your best Christmas yet (or maybe it is, in which case, congratulations and feel free to disregard this note entirely!) But I know that when David and I were fighting, the book I’ve enclosed helped to cheer me up a lot. I also included something else that might be a bit of fun for you, if you ever want a smaller camera to carry around :-p
