Prince Will waiting anxiously by his bedroom window for Knight Mike to return from battle

Knight Mike standing steadfast at his post outside of Prince William's chambers, determined to give his life to protect his royal highness.

Prince Will demanding that Knight Mike come and sit as his model, as there's nothing to paint in these boring chambers of mine.

OKAY THEN DAMN

after the royalwise post I made (NEW BYLER VARIENT AGHH) getting wayyy more traction then I thought it would and also getting requests for fics IVE ACTUALLY DECIDED TO DO IT SO UHHHH HERE'S SOME STUFF I MIGHT INCLUDE

Knight/Royal Guard Mike x Prince Will (obviously)

Angst/fluff/slight comfort/friends to lovers/Mike falls first/Artist Will Byers

Raised together (Mike as a Squire, Will as an heir to the throne) but lost contact cause of studies

Later, Mike then got assigned as Will’s personal bodyguard.

Will is a bit more confident in this fic.

Will secretly paints in his chambers. However secretly means he doesn’t have a lot of variety to paint from, so he gets Mike to come into his chambers and pose as his model.

Mike is very nervous about this, as he is trying to keep his distance from Will and stay “professional” (he’s developing feelings for him)

Lucas (who is a ranger in the King’s Army) clocks them instantly lmao
