Why did the anime leave out the Loyd / Royd explanation? I was so confused watching it

Royd Lloyd (Bleach) » April 28
Also, my gosh does the Bleach fandom continually underestimate Royd Lloyd.
“How did Yama not know he was an imposter when he didn’t copy Yhwach’s strength--”
The man still manhandled Kenpachi Zaraki without breaking a sweat, AFTER the man took off his eyepatch. The Quincy King didn’t just appoint some rando to take his place; his court doppelganger was meant to have a power that rivaled the King’s. Or that could, at least, pass for the King’s.

BLEACH: Thousand-year Blood War ep 6 (short) review
Finally! Finally, it happened! Yamamoto vs. Yhwach showdown!
Expect, as we all know it wasn't really Yamamoto vs. Yhwach but rather Yamamoto vs. Royd Lloyd. Even so, the fight was extremely epic. I loved how animators had basically gone beyond everything with the color palette, angle shots, animation, and even the skeleton CGIs didn't look that bad! Every shot looked very dynamic and even when Yamamoto was talking to "Yhwach" the seriousness was ever so present as the feeling of movement. I just loved how they animated Yamamoto's Bankai's different stages and those looked visually just stunning. The whole episode was just epic and I'm happy they gave so much attention to this whole fight as it deserved a whole episode of its own.
I loved the parallels between back then and now how it was shown how some things had changed and some hadn't when Yamamoto and Sasakibe in past went against Yhwach while now "Yhwach" seemingly fought alone...while in reality, it was Royd pulling over Yamamoto.
Oh man, the crushing look on Yamamoto's face when he realized he had basically lost everything and just basically...gave up. Before that, the old man really put up a fight, and kudos for that.
Few other things noteworthy (not related to Yamamoto vs. Royd and in the end Yamamoto vs. real Yhwach):
It was somewhat sweet and cute how Yamamoto rescued Kenpachi from "Yhwach".
The fact Isane was worried about her skin made me laugh a bit. It was like 'but taichou! My skin routine is SUPER important!' while Unohana all but rolled her eyes, stating 'Isane, I know your skin route is important, but we're middle of war.' Like lol. xD It seemed like Isane forgot that for a moment...
Uryuu reads about Quincies real history and thought how it's seemingly somewhat easy with Ichigo. (Because he is an idiot.)
What disappointed me, though...where was Aizen's mighty chair?! We finally got to see smooth Aizen, but no chair. Like. Why? I bet every Aizen x chair fan is extremely disappeared right now. Bleach animators, why you broke that one ship that we all could agree upon?! Well, aside from that, the whole meeting between Aizen and Yhwach gave me from reason Neon Genesis Evengalion vibes. I think it was because of the light and colors they used, plus the fact Aizen was on the cross-like pillar that gave me Lilith vibes...I don't know why, but I think that all suited the mood awfully well, and oh gosh. I've come to love Aizen's voice actor voice very much. Such a deep and rich voice. Not to mention, the fact that even when tied up and locked down, Aizen still managed to look down on Yhwach and be the top dog! Both literally and figuratively manner. 💜
