Leonard had scoffed back then.
”The love we have for the world, the love we have for our ideals, the love we have for our people... it's lovely to wear this in our hands and be reminded of why we fight. “

Leonard didn't say it, but in his mind, he added -

Hardy geraniums are usually finished by late October but Vancouver has had a very dry November, and, obviously, this particular variety (Rozanne) is a very hardy geranium indeed.
