Did Tikki or Plagg not recognize the name marinette choose?

They haven’t heard it yet, actually! But it does come as a bit of a shock.

Tikki and Plagg did not want to apologize to Hui? or feel guilt for what they did to Huuxi? That is something that has hovered over my head (Sorry for my horrible English T-T)

Your English is fine, don’t worry about it! (English isn’t even my native language, so there’s no judgement here.)

Tikki and Plagg have fallen into the trap of “maybe if I ignore it, one day it’ll go away” but the problem about living so long is that it doesn’t work like that. They feel incredibly guilty about what happened in Egypt but they’ve never fully tried to apologize for what happened nor have they realized just how much it’s affected Huuxi after all these years. 

It wasn’t a simple mistake--a chosen died because of their choices and it weighs heavily on their minds but one chosen out of many is a horrible mistake but they can get back on their feet and grow from those decisions that lead to that eventual betrayal. 

The problem is that Huuxi doesn’t see it that way. His chosen was the one to die, not theirs, and even though Plagg and Tikki have made sure to never let that happen again he’s never seen it. 

So over thousands of years, the separation caused Plagg and Tikki to believe that maybe Huuxi forgave them after all this time. But the fox kwami is still so angry.
