There's a roleplay that just popped up called Savannah-Roleplay that has Wilmington vibes. The admins play four white characters yet their guidelines promote diversity and their location is a city but they're claiming it's a small town roleplay. They've been messaged about their four white characters and are continuing to not address the situation.

I’m guessing their justification would be bc one of them has Ana de Armas as a fc? But otherwise, yeah, the faceclaims scream 2017-2018 overused faceclaims imo 😂 I’m not in the rpc anymore (only 1x1ing with Beth) so I haven’t been keeping up with anything/know much about anything anymore. The alias thing I find concerning, but that’s been my stance for a really long time. I just wouldn’t join it if you’re concerned, anon!! They’re gonna do what they’re gonna do and if they’re gonna be like Wilmington or another iteration of that then there’s no stopping it/they’ll probably get away with it!!! 🤷‍♀️

not sure if you have answered something similar before, but what would you do if you see that a close mutual and friend has joined a problematic roleplay (probably without knowing all the facts about why is it deemed a problematic group)?

I need to rant. I’m so sick and tired of cliques and people just wasting others’ time. I spend time sending memes and starters and no one ever replies. I hate how this community is just like so closed off. Everyone gossips and shuns others who don’t fit their narrow-minded version of what roleplay should be. Everyone acts like if you have problems, you should keep them locked up inside. I hate this community so much. I wonder why I’m still here.

Please know you’re not alone in how you feel about this community!!! Or the way it excludes people. I also used to reply to everybody, write starters, send memes, send messages after reading every single bio and coming up with multiple connection ideas… and I’d get bitched about and hated on for being too enthusiastic or for constantly being on the dash, uh, which is what you’d think people would WANT in a group. But yeah. The rpc sucks!!!! Please know it’s THEIR loss, not yours!! You deserve better than that and if people don’t want your hard work and effort, then they’re morons and don’t deserve to have it in the first place. I hope it helped to rant and get it all out. At what point is what you’re doing cause more harm than good though? Its nice to have the idea of wanting to give people a place to vent but the problem is that half these anons could be the abusers themselves and because you don’t fact checking before posting peoples names you could be part of the bigger issue.

I don’t fact check what? How people feel? What people have personally experienced? This is why I have the guidelines here. Of course the anonymous function can be abused. It isn’t a perfect system—I’ve said that before. I don’t know what else to tell you. 🤷‍♀️ Even if I stopped and deleted my blog, the bigger issue would still be there. With or without me, it’s there.

Lol Teddy has your back until she decides it’s not worth it, I am the anon from a few days ago and I wasn’t a disgruntled former member, just someone who got screwed over by Teddy’s toxicity in another RP. But by all means defend her and enjoy having her stab you in the back.
