Sometimes I really want to read a short summary of what to expect from a game with a very particular description that CATER to my OWN SPECIFIC interests, so here we go.
what to expect from THE WITCHER 1
sexist game in a sexist medieval low fantasy world. No magic but elves and dwarves
fantasy racism, you can side with the elves and dwarves or the human oppressors
you play as Geralt, a super human (sort of), with partial magical powers, who has to find some stuff stolen from the super humans base
amnesiac protagonist
repetitive combat
romance is one of the main storylines (you can choose between Shani or Triss)
you collect sex cards of every woman you meed. Geralt apparently sleeps with every lady he interacts with
time travelling shenanigans, actually this is the only game I can think of where the time travelling was done well
a lot of swamp monsters to kill
each act has a different area and main quest.
plot? a bit boring at the beginning, picks up by the end when you start to find out more about who is the bad guy gameplay? repetitive, action, you can use about 6 spells, and then it’s your sword (only one movement, so you press the same button forever...) characters? some seems to be there only for comedic purpose, a couple are interesting, Geralt is meh sadness level? medium low happy ending? deaths? (spoiler under cut)
You know i think multi choice games might often put you fully in charge of the fate of a shy character gaining confidence
It would be interesting to have a character going on their own road of self discovery and you mainly affect how they will express their self confidence and how it will be tempered
