Log of the ship Architeuthis, exploring the Tiamat System.
Brave new worlds. Strange new life. Concept sketches for a Mothership campaign. (1463-8, Dungeon23 23-28)
"It looks like what you'd get if someone tried to build a human based off of unconfirmed sightings and only had bits left from the kit they used to make starfish."
Further progress in the Dead City. Next time, I think we'll go somewhere else on this planet, see something else. (1510-12, Dungeon23 113-119)
"Human remains. We found human remains. How. How? This system was only discovered five years ago. The Architeuthis is the first ship recorded travelling to this system. It's impossible, but the evidence is before our eyes."
Curiouser and curiouser... (1494-5, Dungeon23 85-91)
"Walls like bone, doors like wounds. Architecture in malignant, cancerous growth, without meaning, without aim."
Working on Dungeon23, but (sensibly) not staying up too late to do a bunch of cool sketches for the rooms. They're not 100% complete, and I'd love to do more little 'flavour sketches' for them, but I'll see if I can find the time. (1479-80, Dungeon23 43-56)
"At the centre of the dead city, a pillar to the heavens, a beanstalk, a space elevator. One of the first features observed on Tiamat-2 was an odd ring, which turned out to be four of these elevators and the remains of a fifth."
To such great heights. (1513-14, Dungeon23 120-126)
"I think we should get out of these tunnels. Who knows how far they stretch, underground?"
More stuff from the dead city. Beware the fungi. (1500-1502, Dungeon23 106-112)
"In this place, the alien is blended with the hauntingly familiar. I'm not sure how much longer we'll be able to progress without... psychological consequences."
'Neath alien skies, a home waits for you. (1475-8, Dungeon23 35-42)
"I hate how intuitive I find this place. It's getting inside my head."
Travel. Deeper. It has waited longer than you can imagine. (1469-1474, Dungeon23 29-35)
