RPH TIP

Your followers and people searching in the tags should not dictate what you do. When you are not creating content, do not blame it on your followers because they didn't suggest anything. Here's a few ideas on what you can do! gif hunts--of your favorite faceclaims! your gif collections could be useful to someone else. research--you can share you're research that you've done for your characters! masterlist--if you've gathered a lot of information or other resources, make a masterlist! fc templates/replacements--if youre good with faceclaim help, throw out suggestions for faceclaims you see when scrolling through the dash!

Just a bit of advice, you should probably answer stuff like that privately or else it pretty much gets them the shoutout they were looking for either way.

RPH Quick Tip; Don't swear in posts that you're intending other people to reblog - especially if those posts are about charity or a signal boost about something important. Even if you're not looking for people to reblog you, when you swear all over your PSA, people won't take it seriously. 

At least I won't. I won't reblog it either. I might even unfollow you if it's bad enough. There's no need to reduce your credibility with foul language.

A quick tip for all RPHs:

Create a tag with your url and track it. It'll be easier for you to find if people mentioned you. Also, tag people's url when you're talking to them or need them in case they're tracking it.

RPH Tip

#1) If your guide, masterlist, etc. takes up more than a screenlength on the dash, please put it behind a cut. If you're editing in rich text, you can click the button that looks like two solid rectangles with a dashed line between them and it'll put it in automatically. Yes, it means that when it's reblogged, it'll be a link back to your blog, so if you change your URL for seasonal or whatever purposes, the link will die because Tumblr isn't capable of forwarding to the new URL, but at least you won't make anyone unable to view their dash on mobile because trying to load your guide every time it's reblogged keeps crashing the app.

#2) Always check links before reblogging or adding it to your queue. There's little that's less helpful than reblogging a link to a guide that's either had the URL changed or directs you to a deleted blog.

Bonus tip: Periodically check the reblogged links you've made in the past to make sure they're still active. A lot of times people change their URLs (sometimes only for a short period for seasonal changes), take down guides for whatever reason, or just take down their account which means the guide is no longer viable. You can update the URL for simple URL changes by clicking the "HTML" button and just swapping out the old blog name for the new one in the address (after "a href=" in the quotation marks). If the guide is just gone for whatever reason, then take down the link to it. If people are looking for information on something and they just keep finding dead links, it'll be more frustrating than helpful.

Use your imagination to create Tina's family. Unfortunately, Glee hasn't given us, any hint on how's her family. So, anything works. Brothers or sisters or both. "Gay parents" is also a really good idea.

RPH Pro Tip:

How to avoid doubles and frozen gifs in gif hunts:

Before you upload, have the folder arrange by size. Any two gifs that are exactly the same will be exactly the same size and thus end up right next to each other, making it super easy to spot the doubles. Arranging by size will also allow you to see what gifs are over 1 MB so you can resize or remove them so they won't show up as frozen.

Never make someone feel bad, for what they ask. I know you could of answered the question and whatever, but dont be rude about it. Try to help them, thats what we're here for. Unless they are being a totally asshole, if they are just delete the message.
