Isaac and Page’s Wedding Day
There was no shortage of energy on the morning of December 5th at the Bryant home. While some preparations had been done before hand, ensuring the last minute details were in place took a great deal of energy, including getting Isaac put together for his big day. While some staff had reservations about Isaac’s chosen partner being a male, no one could say a word against him with how happy he looked. More so when Anastasia pulled aside any who disagreed with the wedding for a talking to.
Isaac was beside himself with excitement and nervousness. He knew Page wasn’t going to leave him at the altar or anything, but it was a little embarrassing knowing he’d be kissing Page in front of all his friends and family. Ah well, at least there wouldn’t be any paparazzi from Page’s world trying to crash the wedding.
Finally, after much grooming and running around, Isaac was waiting for his walk down the isle.
“Are you sure you don’t want your father to walk you down the aisle?” Anastasia asked her son quietly.
“I’m sure, we’re already breaking tradition, so what’s one more?”
“Yes, I suppose you have a point.” It would have looked a little award for Regal to walk Isaac down, but she knew her husband wanted to be there for Isaac as much as possible.
“And Mom,” Isaac leaned in real quick as the music started, “please tell Dad thank for you the cake.” Regal had outdone himself in making the cake for Isaac and Page’s wedding, insisting he be the one to prepare it as part of their wedding present.
“I will. Now, let’s get you going.” The music hushed the guests and with Anastasia holding Isaac’s arm she walked with him towards Page, waiting quietly at the end of the aisle with Rain, Page’s brother and the officiator of the wedding.
“I love you Isaac.” She whispered before giving him a kiss on the forehead and going to take her seat.
“I love you too, Mom.” Isaac turned to his soon to be husband and stood next to him, trying not to get emotional already. Oh how was he supposed to make it through the service without crying?
