a superhuman being or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a deity.
Charis is an island where those who have been sacrificed to their Gods and Goddesses are given a new life in dedication or service to those same deities. They aren’t those only ones gifted or cursed with belief though, joined by followers who have never given their lives, but would do so if it served to please that same divinity. Those same powers are present there as well, learning what it’s really like to live with their children, for better or worse.
Hi Charlie! We're a newly opened OC rp set at a hotel in Los Angeles, California. Could we please get your opinion? Thanks!
Of course! Below the cut, you can find a public opinion for royalhavenhotelrp. Please keep in mind opinions are extremely opinionated and in no way meant to hurt anyone’s feelings. If you want a more elaborate explanation, send me another message!
Both your theme and icon look very nice to me, and I’m a fan of the graphic you used for the header. If I were you I would make the navigation bar static, so that when you scroll it will stay in place and that way people would be able to access the links even when they’re at the bottom of the page. That’s just my preference though.
I absolutely love your plot. It’s well written and it’s a good length, plus the idea is really cool. I love how you combined the hotel with the gossip site, I think that will work really well. Your rules are clear and reasonable, the only thing I would do is add a link to the trigger list where you mention people can put their triggers in their app . (PS; you have a minor spelling mistake at the bottom: “ that’s hard if only a select few understandS what your character is saying” should be understand without the s.)
The application is fairly extensive but needed for OCs, and I’m always happy to see a good application page, so I like it! One extra tip for your location page is to have a bit of info on what people can do in the city, rather than just focusing on the hotel itself, but once again that is just a preference.
I’m honestly rooting for this roleplay. It’s not a genre I usually roleplay but it looks really cool and I’m actually thinking of applying. There’s very little to say that you can improve, but still I hope you found this helpful! And I might be messaging you guys about a character idea I’m having. Good luck, I’m definitely recommending this roleplay!
Hi there! Jonestown RP is a brand new plotless, skeleton roleplay set in a small town in upstate New York! We are now open for canon and original character applications! We’d love to get your opinion on how we can improve our game for potential applicants! Please and thank you and have a lovely day!
Sure thing! Below the cut, you can find a public opinion for jonestownrp. Please keep in mind opinions are extremely opinionated and in no way meant to hurt anyone’s feelings. If you want a more elaborate explanation, send me another message!
I really like your icon. I’m not sure why, but I get a real small-town feel from it, perhaps because of the use of lowercase? Whatever it is, it works. I’ve previously used your theme for a roleplay I wanted to set up, so I really like it, but I also love how you blended the orange with the purple. It fits really well with the graphic and because everything is very coherent, it looks very professional!
The setting is to the point and short, which is always nice for plotless roleplays. I like how you specify that you are a para-based roleplay, rather than putting that in the rules: it will make sure you attract the people looking for exactly that. There’s nothing to say on your rules either: it’s good that you have put the link to the trigger list with the guidelines, but if I were you I would also put a link on the navigation, since it is such an important page!
I’m not a huge fan of non-negotiable faceclaims when there’s no TV fandom to abide to, though I do understand why you chose to have some. However, one thing you could do is say these FC’s are only negotiable when requesting an admin’s help -- meaning you would offer alternative faces for the non-negotiable ones, so that you can make sure the ethnicity of a FC is respected.
This roleplay looks like it has very dedicated admins because it’s clear how much work you’ve put into everything, so I hope you will get equally dedicated members! This is definitely a roleplay to be recommended, so I will add them to my list of recs! Good luck!
He doesn’t know it, but everything in Malcolm Viola’s life is part of a massive TV set. The Bellevue Show (abbreviated The BS) is an American reality television series that focuses on the personal and professional lives of the residents of Bellevue Island, some of whom are professional actors, and some of whom are completely unaware that their entire life is a lie — - Hey there! We're an up and coming bio and oc roleplay based on The Truman Show. Could we please get a public opinion? Thanks!

First of all, I love the BS bellevue/bullshit pun. It honestly made me laugh out loud, so well done. Your icon makes me think of a high school rp for some reason though, if I were you I would do something else with the color combination (like the white outlining the purple). Your theme/main looks very professional and I really love that. The grey and pink color schedule works surprisingly well!
The Truman show is one of my favorite movies, so I might be biased here, but your plot is amazing. I’ve never seen a roleplay based on it (I’ve actually thought of creating my own a while back), and on top of being original it’s well-written and not too long or too short. The rules are also clear and seem to be inclusive, so there’s no comment there!
In general, this roleplay is one that I’ll definitely be recommending. The idea you took is original and you turned it into a great roleplay where inclusiveness and professionalism are very important, and I might even apply myself!
