lily turned on her heel, her hands steadied on her hips. “i don’t understand why you’re so upset. you knew what this was.” she huffed, too arrogant to allow the other’s opinions to be heard or validated. she wasn’t wrong, they had been seeing each other without a title for some time now, maybe it was never an exact agreement but it had been going on for so long it sure had started to feel like one. “i’m sure whatever you’re referring to isn’t even the truth...” the redhead mumbled knowing damn well that she had been saying a lot of things to her friends about the other. however, she had only started saying negative things about her counterpart because her friends had started to catch on that something was going on between them and lily surely couldn’t have them knowing that the feelings were reciprocated. “what did you hear i was telling them?” she questioned, quirking a brow. her stance was confrontational but only because that was the stance the other had started off with, and lily was on offense now.
