"Team Rocket says Trans Rights."
here is a hlvrai oc / benrey sona (?) borne of twitter roleplay… Blue
[Cyanophobia] Encounter
Leaf and Blue glared at each other within the depths of the cave. If one were to tell Leaf a few years ago that she'd get her closure with Blue in this location, she wouldn't have believed them. Yet, here she was, looking at the girl in the face in the Cerulean Cave of Leaf's home world.
"It's been years, Leaf. We've both have grown so much." Blue paced to the side as she pulled out a Pokémon. It was a Shadow Absol. "I'd say that we're both prettier than ever from the last time we've met."
Leaf squinted. She wasn't taking that bait. Instead, she sat down on the floor. "How's your Red and Green?" Mewtwo sat with her.
Blue blinked, but then decided to sit down as well. Absol joined her. "Green… he passed away a few years ago. Cancer."
"Oh. I'm so sorry. I know you looked up to him."
"I did…." Blue sighed. "He spent so much time trying to convince me to run away with him and didn't even bother to think about himself. It was so out of character for him that it made the grieving worse."
"I understand. Blue and I are close here, and despite his cocky attitude, I know that he would move the entire world to make sure that Red and I are okay. I'm sure that's the same thought process that your Green was thinking about."
"Probably, but… he's gone now, and it's sometimes just hard to accept it."
"I get it. I understand. I… felt like that with my own dad, even if the circumstances were different."
"Yeah." Blue sighed. "As for Red, he's… somewhere. I know he's alive at least." She shrugged. "We're not friends anymore. After all, you know how he feels about Team Rocket."
"Yeah." Leaf nodded. "He must have taken it poorly when he heard that you joined Team Rocket."
Blue sighed. "He… he did, yeah. I was told that he cried for multiple days."
"Have you seen him since?"
Blue nodded. "We've seen each other a few times since. Battled a few times. He tried to get me to quit. Said that he knew that I was better than this." She sighed. "After our last battle, he fled to another world, but I don't know which right now."
"Hm." Leaf crossed her arms. "So, why are you calling me here? I know that we didn't leave off on the right foot…"
"… That's putting it lightly." Blue laughed a little.
"… Okay, well, that battle was inevitable. You know that." Leaf sighed. "You said in your letter that you wanted closure. Well, I do too. That's why I'm here. So, what's the matter?"
Blue was quiet for a little while as she considered what to say. For a moment, it felt as if everything was coming at her at once, even though she was the one to coordinate this. "I…" She grit her teeth. She wanted to say so many things at once, but she knew that she had to start somewhere. "I missed you, Leaf. I… I really do. I know that we really broke up because I joined Team Rocket despite your feelings about them, but I really mean it when I say that I miss you and that I want you back. I know that I've been horrible but… but I promise that I'll change and that we can make this work again…."
Leaf stood back up. "How can you say that you'll change when you came in this world, invaded it, and had your team attack us? Even right now my friends are all fighting your people to prevent them from taking over Johto and maybe even more! How can you tell me that you want me to take you back when you're doing all of this!?"
"Because… because I don't want to be in this anymore! I'm tired of being a part of Team Rocket, and I… I just want to leave!" Blue stomped her foot. "I'm tired of this whole thing with being a part of Team Rocket, and with taking over from world to world. I'm tired of this world domination shit with no end-goal in sight, and yet I have to pretend over and over again that this is where I am destined to be… that I have to carry on as Giovanni's daughter since his son is against us—"
"… Oh, right. I forgot that Giovanni's your dad in your world."
Blue huffed. "Just like how Archer's yours." Blue went back to leaning against a rock. "… I got a visit in my dreams by an Arceus. This isn't the first time I've encountered her, but this time was different. She was a lot more foreboding than before… telling me that I'm going to fall into an abyss at the mercy of another Arceus. I've started to have my doubts about this before, but, after learning about it… I only continued to realize how futile this endeavor is…." She shook her head. "We have no chance against you guys. Between the defections from Lillie—"
"—Ivy."
"…? Ivy?"
"The version of Lillie you guys had? Her name's Ivy now."
"Hm. Well, between her capture and later defection, as well as Sirius, not to mention losing Shirona, Yuki, and Haruka, I've realized that we don't stand a chance against you guys." She shook her head. "But at the same time, I couldn't just leave them as-is. Doing that and abandoning them would put a target on my back, too…."
"Really?" Leaf slightly squinted and crossed her arms. "So, let me guess. You know that you can't beat us, so you decided to get them on a suicide mission to get captured while you… come here to get me to flee with you?"
Blue nodded. "They're working on a plan to take over Goldenrod Tower. They want to use it as an signal and the department store as an antennae as a last-ditch effort to regain control."
Leaf turned to look at Mewtwo, who seemed to be just as annoyed with Blue as she was. Then, Leaf turned back. "A signal for what? Who could be contacting like that?"
"…" Blue looked up to the ceiling. "Some time ago, Kotone on behalf of Team Rocket landed a deal with an Arceus. She was one of the most powerful creatures that we've ever seen, destroying a multitude of worlds for her own personal gain. Her name was Artemis, the World Cleanser.
"…?" Leaf's heard of that title before, but that was for— "You mean 'Friede'?"
"Friede?"
"Yeah. Friede's the World Cleanser. She's a Shiny Arceus that went from world to world destroying any of them that had remnants of humans. Heidi's already beaten her."
Blue blinked. "… Oh, right. I did see that footage. No, not her. You seem to forget that things are different on my side of the barrier between the parallel dimensions. Artemis is a cruel Arceus that destroys worlds and bends the few survivors to her will."
"… Oh. Oh, that's bad. So, what you're telling me is that she's going to come here and destroy this world?"
"That's the intent, but they won't make it that far. Sending a signal strong enough to pierce the barrier between us and deliver to her requires a great amount of energy, but also requires an amplifier on the other side, and, well…" Blue took out her phone and approached Leaf.
Leaf flinched and stepped back, but Mewtwo tapped her, causing her to return to normal. The girl then instead took a step forward and peeked at the phone.
[Cyanophobia]
Cerulean Cave, Kanto
Leaf trekked through the dark cavern, passing through the strange, maze-like structure and avoiding ample amounts of Pokémon. It would normally take a seasoned trainer hours or even days to get used to the layout of the place; however, Leaf had this place memorized. She remembered the trappings of her first few visits here... the strange dead-ends that always led to battles, the strong Pokémon lurking both on the land and in the water... none of that was going to be the case this time. She came prepared...
... and she knew that Blue knew that. That's why this was a perfect spot for them.
Leaf eventually made it to the deepest part of the cave. It was here where she encountered Mewtwo... and had failed to get it from Red all of those years ago. It was also here where she and her current Mewtwo spent together to meditate and share a bond... and it was here where she expected to find her counterpart.
Leaf took out a Poké Ball and tossed it.
Leaf sent out Mewtwo!
Mewtwo knew why it was here, too. Sure, it was no longer bound by its previous master, Giovanni, but there wasn't a chance that Blue would just let it and Leaf stay partners... and it wasn't going to let her do that without a fight.
"I'm here, Blue." Leaf walked around, with Mewtwo following her. "There. Your people have attacked Goldenrod City and I chose to leave in favor for seeing you. Now it's just... me... and you."
"..."
"I'm serious, Blue. I know you made it here already. Don't try to act all quiet now. You said that you wanted to have closure? Well, let's have it."
"..."
"...."
"You know, it's really foolish for you to come all of the way in here and do exactly what I say. You really were too good for this world."
"... I'm not in a playing mood, Blue."
Blue stepped forward and made herself known. "Good, because I'm not in a betraying mood, either. It's good to finally see you face-to-face again, Leaf."
"... Likewise, I guess."
Blue turned to look at Mewtwo. "Oh, and you too, Mewtwo. Nice to see that you've grown accustomed to your new trainer, hm?"
Mewtwo rolled its eyes. Whatever, Blue.
[Cyanophobia] Takeover
The creeping darkness was still eeking at her… still calling for her to give in to its whims. Ever since that day, she's dreamed every night of losing her sanity and dignity to that… thing. Even worse, she was cornered, with a batch of people that took the darkness's side, and less places to hide.
They spend the past several weeks putting in the work to have everything in place, and she wasn't going to back down now. So, she got up and started to make her way to the location. She trusted that everything was in motion.

Goldenrod, Johto
The Goldenrod Radio tower was operating as normal. People would come in to interact with the staff at the lobby and to perform simple tasks like gathering information, trying their hand at the lottery, or requesting a tour. However, there seemed to be finally a little bit of a break in between performing all of these actions. The receptionist at the desk used the opportunity to let out a sigh and think about the rest of her day. She thought about spending time with her Pokemon and her roommate to finish watching the soap opera that they were all watching.Maybe they can figure out who won that high-stakes battle….
… Just as she was starting to zone out, someone started to approach her. "Excuse me. Is this the Goldenrod Radio Tower?"
"Hm?" The receptionist looked up at the girl. "Ah, yes. This is the Radio Tower. This is the directory of the tower. Are you here for our tour, or are you here to apply for the lottery today?"
"… ohhh, neither, really." The woman laughed as she took out a Poké Ball. "Let's just say that I'm here on… official business."
"Official business?" The receptionist blinked before quickly checking her guest book. She didn't remember expecting a guest to come around this time. "Give me a moment to check the guest log. What is your name?"
"Kotone. Though, you may not see me on there."
The receptionist looked back up at Kotone, who was smirking. "Then, what—"
She didn't get to finish her sentence before turning to see what Kotone really meant.
The door had burst open as Team Rainbow Rocket members flooded the lobby. Some of them stopped to use their Pokemon to apprehend some of the residents on the ground floor while the vast majority swarmed the stairs. They were taking over the tower again, and their security measures were clearly failing!
The receptionist placed her hands down before reaching over and pressing the silent alarm button under her desk. "I--is this what you call 'official business'!?"
Rainbow Rocket Kotone laughed. She took off her blouse, revealing a Team Rainbow Rocket uniform herself. "It is, and you'll all do nicely to cooperate…."
Rainbow Rocket Kotone sent out Shadow Ho-Oh!
"!!!!"

Blue called Mew to use Fly!
---
Leaf had come back into her room. "Whew. Thought I was gonna burst ther—"
Leaf paused. Has... someone been in her room? She looked around. Everything... looked in place. There wasn't anything that was odd, even under the bed. Maybe she's imagining—
—wait. Was that paper on her window sill always there? Leaf picked it up, sat on the bed, and read it.
...
...
...
"... Blue." So, it was her that found her way here. ".... I'll... I'll consider it... if it means getting one final bit of closure."
"..."
Blue found herself in an undisclosed location, with the now rescued Yuki and Haruka by her side. Time and time again, they've been thwarted by this group, even preemptively. Not only that, but Lillie had betrayed them, as she was given what she wanted without fear of control by them. To make matters worse, it seems that she was even against creatures that she hasn't even encountered before... with the creeping darkness still poking at her.
Ugh, if only Green or Giovanni were here. Why did they have to leave her behind? They would have helped her make the perfect plan. Without them, she's become short-sighted... and it's costed her time and time again.
They could retreat. They could regroup in another world and slowly build their forces... but now that she knows that they're being hunted by entities that know Mai directly, it was only a matter of time before they're spotted, especially if they all go together.
...
....
"We'll have to go all or nothing, Yuki and Haruka." She explained, finally breaking her silence. "There are still others that are still allied with us that we control. We'll need to send a giant signal to call them, and to use those forces to overwhelm this world."
Haruka tilted her head. "But, if we do that, isn't it likely that we'll be found?"
"That's right. So, we'll have to stave Mai and possibly even Shigana off if they come for us." Blue sighed. "It's a bold plan, I know, but they've shrugged off every attempt at attacking from the shadows, even to the point where you both were captured."
Yuki nodded. "So you're trying to make them regret it."
"That's right. With Team Rainbow Rocket's might and conquest, we can make them regret even trying to stop us, and if Mai comes, we overwhelm her, too."
"But where can we go to amplify our message to those in Team Rainbow Rocket, Blue? We'll need something big to broadcast the message, even if it requires some tweaking."
"Where else? Goldenrod City, of course!"
[PRIMORDIAL SEAS] [Checkpoint] Blue's Future
Blue found herself in what seemed to be a large, open location. It was dark, dark enough to not be able to see in front of her. There was no moon nor stars in the skies. Nothing that resembled a light at all that she could see. Listening out, the place was silent… eerily so. It's clear that she doesn't belong here.
"Hello?" Blue called out. "Is anyone there?"
An spooky echo of her voice permeated through the area. There was no other type of response.
"Hello?"
The echo continued to resonate.
Then, suddenly, a new voice could be heard behind her. "This is pretty spooky, isn't it?"
Blue jumped and turned around. Suddenly, there was something to focus her attention on. The Arceus counterpart of Heidi was sitting on a log next to a pillar that was lit up with a soft fire. It was just enough to see the Arceus, the ground under her and the Torii gate behind her.
"…" Blue faced the Arceus and reached for her Poké balls…
… but none of them could be found.
"Oh, no need for a battle, Blue. I'm not here to hurt you. I'm forbidden from intervening, anyway."
"…" Blue stood straight. "…you're that Eldritch Arceus that's going around the world in people's dreams, aren't you?"
Arceus scoffed. "I'm not an Eldritch entity. For fuck's sake. But yes."
"… then I must be in a dream."
"You are, but…" Arceus snapped her fingers. Two columns of pillars started to light up, showing the scene that they were in. The area vast and flat, stretching as far as the eye can see. The now-lit pillars stretched just as far. "… I'm the one in control."
Blue looked around. There was still plenty of darkness in the directions that strayed from the pillar, but notably, there seemed to be a row of torii gates that stretched far from behind Arceus, but there were none behind Blue.
Arceus pointed at a nearby log. "Take a seat."
Blue looked at the log. She slowly moved over and sat down.
"… How do you like this place, Blue?"
"It's… empty… and cold… but, for some reason, I feel exposed, like something is always watching me."
Arceus nodded. "Good."
"What is this place?"
"This place." Arcues looked up and crossed her arms. "I believe she decided to call this place 'The Abyss'. It's a special place that connects different instances of the Distortion World together. It's also the home to a special Arceus that, well, you'll eventually see."
"And this is not a special Hall of Origin, even though you said that this place belongs to an Arceus?"
Arceus shook her head. "Nope."
The two fell in silence for a moment. It was then Arceus that broke it this time.
"Gotta say… forcing Kathy to take Groudon, and then use him to force a ruckus with Kyogre, all so you can have cover to put in a couple of your mooks nearby to prepare to take down Rayquaza? Interesting tactic."
"So, you already know my plan." She huffed. "I'm surprised you're not going to cry over to that Latias to tell her."
Arceus shook her head. "Eh. Not my place to. I don't intervene, remember? I'm just here to watch you lose~"
Blue nodded. Then, she glared. "… why did you take me here?"
"Because, well, this is going to be your new home soon." Arceus laughed. She then looked back at Blue. "You've made a grave mistake coming to this world, Blue. Despite all of your scheming, it seems that Mai will finally catch up to you."
Blue scoffed. "She can try as much as she'd like. Team Rainbow Rocket will live on through me. Once I finally get my revenge for Giovanni's murder and force Leaf to our side, we will be unstoppable."
"Is that so? Even as you run out of admins?"
"I can replace them. Even Shirona's disposable."
"Mmm. We'll see about that. I look forward to how your downfall plays out. Now that you've nearly killed Zinnia as well as captured Lady Wyvern and Katherine, Heidi won't treat you with much mercy."
"She and her shadow self can rot for all I care. They murdered Giovanni, so I will make them pay." Blue glared. "Now, if you're done trying to taunt me, I'd like to return to the waking world, please."
"Yes. I think so, too." Arceus stood from the log and started to walk away towards the torii gates. "I just hope your failure was worth the risk."
As Arceus continued to walk away, the lights near her started to dissipate. Then, with a single snap, Blue was left to the creeping darkness once again, only interrupted by the sounds of the Arceus's fading footsteps.
