After a handful of Alex’s artwork for the Steam cards, now we’re gonna a few fanmade Database-style boss fusions. When fans get to combining art assets and putting together well-crafted amalgamations, you can get some truly impressive, beautiful, or interesting results. I dare say that this was probably the biggest unintended consequence of Database; inspiring the players to imagine what other combinations could exist.

Project D - Fusion by Rs jello

In this Database-style boss fusion, I count Warden (main body), Overlord (face mask), Genesis from Nightmare (shield), Grinder (I guess it’s the sword grip?), the core of Armor Tac (a quasi-guard of sorts?), and the spire of the original Machine (as a dual-blade, looks like).
