001~Rebecca & Silas
Exam season was just around the corner and Rebecca and her friends planned a studying sleepover every other day. Even if studying never happened, she was glad she was having fun with her friends-she knew it by now that she’d spend long hours in the library. Storming in their favorite coffee shop, Rebecca decided not to get any coffee, just a few doghnuts for her daily sugar dose. Giggling at a random joke one of them said, she turned her head, her eyes resting on him.
Silas Banks. Rebecca’s little crush. And also her college professor. She was sure he knew her by name, because she was one of the students that always wanted to discuss whatever the lesson was about. And being an English lit major made the crush a little bigger. Her heart started beating loud in her ears, after paying for her doghnuts. “Be right back”, she said quickly to her friends-they weren’t English lit majors, so she was sure they didn’t know him. Deep down she hoped that they wouldn’t realize the crush. As she moved closer to his table, she smiled lightly at him. “Hello Mr Banks. I hope you remember me”, she felt a little too shy for her own good.
