For better or for worse, Mikhail had always been rather ‘consistent’ with his sense of... fashion. (If he were allowed to even word it as such, ha ha ha!) It wasn’t as though he had much of a choice, given that he was the wandering musician sort. Consistency. Otherwise known as--if he were to use less flattering words-- lack of variety. Though his personality made him a man of many hats, he really did only have one coat for matters like this. And sweltering weather was never kind to a man with half a wit. Odd enough to wear a trenchcoat into the desert.
Oh well. It wasn’t like he hadn’t gone through these trials before. If he just bit his tongue and whistled a pretty tune, the heat would be gone in a flash. And so he did. And so it did. And by stars, he hadn’t thought something like that would work! It’s... not supposed to work that way. As the powdered snow sprinkled over head, he wondered what tune set the clouds off?
Snow.
It was gracious, and a sign that meant more to his blistered heart than he let on. If he didn’t know any better, someone was listening to his prayers and brought down a soft blanket for him to cool his head. But he wasn’t the conceited sort-- what was good for him was certainly not good for others. Watching everyone rush into the Sphinx, with their wares in tow, he couldn’t help feel conflicted by how pleased he was. If it snowed every day, would he--?
Oh never mind that. Gliding over to the next stall packing its wares, Mikhail offered a smile and a hand. It was the least he could do for people who couldn’t handle the cold. Whistling a tad bit wistfully, he went about his day as he always did. Where ever the music took him.

She hopped out of her little chair, with a paper fan in her hand. After all the official paperwork mumbo jumbo was all said and done, she handed him a popsicle and had him go on his way. (The packaging was deeeeeeeefinitely false advertising, but hey, even if it said it was an alpaca popsicle, whatever was inside was probably better.)
Located in the Varnt Desert (Hot Hot Desert™), out in Midgar. The area is surrounded by lots of pyramids, odd statues, and pools of water with sprouting springs. For some reason, people tend to wear bathing suits (and anything they can do without... to keep cool). ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) There are many stands selling popsicles and ice cream. Expect to have some mini pool parties in here, yeah?
{ Attractions: }
A huge oasis in the center of pyramids, stalls, and is that a... sphinx? It looks just like paradise, a beacon of hope after arriving into the desert. The water glimmers and shines and the palm trees and coconuts really make you think you are truly at a beach. And not in the middle of a heated wasteland.
The Stalls are another point of interest! This is where you meet Mimi passing out some funky looking popsicles that do not resemble the packaging at all. People over here are always looking for a deal, and feel free to barter your hard earned RP.
Bathing suit contests, watermelon smashing, and muscle mania! This is where people can showcase their outfits and show off their strength. There will be judges for the bathing suits, and a mini game for people to play to see who’s the strongest of them all! Details below the cut~

You set up your stall with five different kinds of items you can sell-- within reason of your character. (Like you can’t be selling woolies if you don’t even know the heck a wooly is.) You can even sell items you've earned from events!
For sellers: Set up a post, your 5 selections, the quantity of each item, and the price you want to sell them at.
For buyers: Feel free to reblog and reply to a stall post! But you have to have Rune Points (RP) to spend it, you hear? Please document and keep track of your RP accordingly.

> Bathing Suit Contest: Simply just make a post on your account of your bathing suit aesthetic. Or lack there of, really. You could be wearing as much as you like, or as little. (Providing that you, uh- keep *something* on. Think of the kiddos.) Describe how you feel about wearing it, don’t forget to smile. That’s the greatest asset anyone could have.
Mimi, Levi, and a random NPC judges your attire.
The winner of the contest gets 500 RP! And some really neat Ray bands.
> Muscle Mania: It’s a minigame in which people gather around to showcase their pecs-- I mean everyone wrestles against each other inside a kiddie pool. Whomever is the last one standing wins. Think of it as a mini tournament! Feel free to RP it out in Discord or on the dash.
How to play:
You need two players. Both will have their hands against each other and see who could push them down into the kiddie pool. At least it’s cool, right?
Shellphone (x1): They say, she used to call me on my shellphone. An one of a kind cellphone from Joja Co! Wait, that’s not where it’s from? Anyways- it’s for 300 RP
Sunscreen (Unlimited): Think of your skin, please. You simply want to look radiant, do you not? Unlimited supply. 30 RP

Funky statues of Ra’ (x4): I don’t know what they are, but apparently they wield some sort of minor level of magic. Have been found by explorers in nearby pyramids. There are four totems. 150 RP each. There is a bird, a dog, a cat, and a fox. The bird has wind magic, the dog has earth, the cat has water, and the fox has fire. It’s funny how the cat has water as its minor arcana no? I thought they didn’t like water… (1) (2) (3) (4)
The Red String of Fate (Unlimited) : Legends say, that if you use this thread- and tie it upon the pinky of the wearer of your choice-- that the goddesses of fate may grant your wish and have you two bonded together, forever. Now would it be in romance? Friendship? Friendly feuding? Who knows? It could be a fluke or a placebo effect for all I know. 200 RP
Upon buying it, it’s actually a temporary effect for a limited time. (2 hrs)
