IT’S FREEZING ! This sudden chill was biting, turning Hinata’s cheeks and the tip of his nose a brilliantly pink hue that would linger even after he had already retreated to shelter. Within the Sphinx wasn’t much better: although he may have been free from the blizzard outside, it was a little… crowded for his liking, and many of the vendors seemed to be struggling to keep their wares on the shelves. ( Ahh, the distant promises of a normal summer bazaar, where Hinata would have been able to finish his ice cream without any peculiar interruptions… indeed, this was turning out to be much more chaotic than he had signed up for. )
Always trying to make the best of things, Hinata approached one of the vendors that had caught his eye earlier before the blizzard hit. Whatever the weather, he certainly wouldn’t be leaving this bazaar empty-handed !
❛ Wait a sec… Hey ! You’re the lady from the treasure hunt, aren’tcha? ❜ it was difficult to forget her, he supposed, with such bright hair and cute accessories. ❛ Uh, it was Mimi… right? I don’t think we actually talked, but I’m Hinata. I saw you were sellin’ some… red string earlier ? I wanted to ask about it– like, what’s the catch? It can’t just be normal string, right? ❜
Shaking in her boots, Mimi was more than happy to have a few spare scarves laying around this place! Though it was certainly a fashion statement if she knew one, hehehe! With Levi and his other employees snuggled up like the grumps they usually are, Mimi was left to tend to her wares. That is-- if she could catch ‘em!
“Wha- Wha- Wha!” She scrambled ungracefully, trying to gather her goods as they started floating off the shelves. The little trinkets bobbed up and down like Was this place cursed or something!? Stuffing a few of her lotion bottles under her weird scarf-cape-coat thingy, she puffed up her cheeks. Did Levi not check out the venue before he reserved a spot at this place? And here she thought she could finally take a vacation... Awwwwwwwwwww.... This... Adventurer’s Guild, was it? It needed to learn from those silly real estate busybodies! Location, location, location!
“Mmmmhmm~! That’s me! Mimi!” Just as she caught the last of her red string in her hands like she was gathering lost balloons, Mimi shot the young man who approached her a winning smile. “With this Red String of Fate they say the goddesses of fate will bond you to the person tied to the other end, yknow? It makes for a good conversation starter, if ya know what I mean~”
Winking playfully, she cooed, “Were you thinking of someone special? Or perhaps you wanna meet someone special soon? This is just! The! Thing! For! You! And it’s yours for the sweet price of 200 RP ❤ ”
