Big Hero 6 event announced: with Kalim, Silver, Jade and Rook (ft Tsubaki, on Yana Toboso's X account, comments) teased but due to being a Lost in The Book, it's possible more characters will be coming!
I'll officially launch the #nrc light trio and #rsa adjacent tags for characters that are based on the "good guys from the movie" characters and other secondary characters that follow the same rule (a list will be upcoming soon as well)
That will mean anything related to characters like Kalim, Silver, Rook or secondary characters like Cheka and etc will be posted here, under one or both of the aforementioned tags <3 I included secondary characters bc I would love to talk about them more despite being "non-RSA". The RSA cast probably won't be big even way so, it's not like it will be a problem to me. Other changes in my pinned post will be made to accommodate that!

Very Playful Land-ish, although I'm not a big fan of the jacket/bolero and the lines (?), the hat and the tie is kinda cute on him <3 Besides the little bleep <3

Big Hero 6: Half the characters + Baymax silhouette
My biggest congratulations to the boys stans!! Especially Kalim and Silver who are very rare to be feature in events, so the fact that they got very high cards made me really happy!
Do you like to talk about the other twst characters or just RSA?
Right now we are waiting for the release of the Baymax event, even though many have mixed feelings for it since the Shrouds aren't part of the event, just the "Light Trio of NRC" and Jade plus Sebek and Ruggie (whose cards weren't revealed for some reason). Many believe the Shrouds would have been perfect because of their similarities to Hiro and Tadashi: brotherly bond, losing a sibling, building a robot to cope with their loss, even in Book 6 the reason Idia was able to rebuild Ortho (whose original body was lost in the Underworld) was due to Grim eating his chip which looked like Baymax's.
But I think i get ot since this event is more focused on the "hero" theme than the tech and robots, so they must have chosen those characters because the light trio are based on "good/hero" characters and also choose the ones who are least likely to be "heroes" (maybe except for Sebek).
Plus, the Shrouds already had their "hero" moment, and, unlike the events, it happened in canon and helped with their character growth.
Even so, let's hope we get a Sci Fi event with either one or both the Shroud brothers in the future, maybe in an event based on Hercules, Tron, or even Star Wars.

This is meant to be a RSA centric blog, the other moments dedicated to characters outside but still sorta related are what I'm calling "adjacent", like the Light Trio and secondary characters with ties to their good counterparts from the movies (Cheka, Falena, etc).
Not that I'm taking away from NRC or pretending they don't exist. I'm a firm believer of "liking both schools", but I wanted to shed light on RSA and the others, especially bc they're very underrated.
I still have my favorites in NRC and that's why there's a "no slander to any school" in the pinned post's important rules section! Anyways, very interesting questions that I'll tackling in a moment. Thank you for asking!
NRC Favorites
I'll let the specific character rambles for a special post but my all-time favorites are: Idia, Silver, Kalim, Rook, Azul & Jamil. The others I like a general amount or I'm neutral but these guys are my faves, "drop everything you're doing to see" lol
Baymax Event
I was kinda sad that they didn't include the Shrouds in any semblance in this event, despite being also happy that the Light Trio are feature (complicated feelings lol). But you brought a important point that maybe they're focusing on the "hero" aspect!
I still wanted either Idia or Ortho to be there still lol It feels like a bit of a miss opportunity, even if they had a similar arc book 6-7. We'll have to wait for a future Island of Woe home event then...
Sebek and Ruggie have outfits but they're probably R cards! So, maybe "not important" to show? I don't recall if they did the same during the Christmas event... but my heart goes to the boys stans just the same!
Yes, Sebek has at least chivalry/knighthood at his side! He might be stubborn but he's nice when he needs to. Port Fest made me start to like Sebek more even before book 7, believe it or not lol
Now Jade and Ruggie were a surprise as well lol I think these three are going to be the spice to the Light Trio's sugar!
Other Sci-Fi events
I think it's going to be difficult for them to do live action based events tho. A Hercules' movie hometown event is more probable!
I saw videos of the Baymax event, and I think I understand why neither Idia nor Ortho were in the event (even though I'm still sad Ortho couldn't meet another fellow robot and that Idia missed the chance to cuddle a kitty aka Mochi).
The Book was found in the infirmary, all the characters got there either because of an injury, or taking care of an injured friend/person, or because they were looking for someone. Idia, being the introvert he is, rarely gets into those situations (maybe except in Gym class) due to his lack of social and outdoor interaction, and he would care less if someone was hurt (unless it was related to an overblot) . Plus, with Ortho and his gadgets he can get medical care from his room. Sometimes I think those two were more based on Hiro and Tadashi than Hades and Cerberus.
Also, even if he wanted to be a hero, he barely has the stamina to do it since Big Hero Six doesn't just rely on mental and tech power but also physical as well. He might've not been able to handle a flying robot ride.
And finally, the nature of the city itself. A place full of tech would have been his dream, but a place full of people everywhere would have been too much for him.
The characters in this particular event weren't just related to heroes (or "anti heroes" in the case of the other three) and great physical stamina, but they also have a connection with "health" either due to personal care or training, or have health issues (Ruggie's hunger) or don't pay much attention to it (like Kalim). Plus it made it more amusing seeing them trying to figure out the technological city.

I haven't been able to watch anything and I admit my sense of urgency is a bit low bc I'm not very familiar with the movie (but once I get around to watch it, I'll see the event for sure~), but I'm seeing a similar sentiment floating around!
ngl I was kinda sure that they would feature at least one of the Shrouds and got a bit sad they don't have the cards but it's like we discussed previously and you pointed out that maybe they already accomplished their arc in book 7, so it wasn't as necessary for them to be there... I still wanted them tho lol
at the same time, I also saw one or two posts about how fun the boys interactions have been and maybe you're onto something about the reason Twst choose these boys in specific is because they combine the themes of the movie! Unfortunately I'm very unfamiliar with the story itself so I can't comment much on that </3
I only know Silver and Sebek are simply not used to that amount of technology and Jade apparently thought or just joked that the cat was a dog lmao I'm not asking for context, I'm just happy that Twst never wastes their comedic moments! And I can always count on that!

The other reason I wish for the Relic Labyrinth event to end in the next chapter is because not only could the fifth chapter be about the mickey sleepover team "intermission", and possibly Yuu (and Grim) having another weird dream and then the characters talking about it, it could also (hopefully ) show the beginning of the second day of the tournament and we could get to met another two rsa guys, just like how we did with Chapter 2.

Another sleepover wouldn't be so bad lol Unfortunately, if that does happen, I just want to tell you folks that unless something really important related to Silver comes up (in the merit of being rsa adjacent), I won't be able to talk about </3 The only downside of being RSA centric is that.
Truth the matter is that... since we're in the beginning, we don't know the tournament formula yet. Yk, the usual "this happens, then this happens" that most of the books have. There's so many things I want to happen but we'll have to wait until there...
My dream as well? Any snippet of new RSA guys (Merrylad's idea will come up in a future ask reply~)... anything... they plotting like "we're going to be the greenest flags behaviors with crazy outfits possible, these guys have no chance" LOL
