Since I'm behind in a lot of things, I'll mostly reblog things for now and later try organizing it better.
Might just be my opinion but claiming to hate RSA and then liking Che'nya is just a bit odd to me.. Idkidk. Also the concept of people going like 'don't like RSA because NRC is our roots' and stuff like that is also so weird. Why can't we like both and all hold hands and kiss. There's absolutely nothing wrong with liking both the 'heros' and 'villains'. But that's just my opinion ofc!!
as a follow up to the part 1, by request of @floraljoudii ~ as if possible, even more chaotic than last time
Chenya: ?/10. He can cook well. Deliciously even. Chenya has that Floyd-like quality of being good with food, although he specifically works his way through vibes and instincts. But he actively chooses to deliver the most weird food possible when asked to cook for the dorm... just so they stop asking him and because the reactions are priceless each rare time. Otherwise, if was to do something for Trey or Riddle, he would still would do a "fun" dish but it's delicious and positively yummy.
Dominic: 7/10. He's one of the best cooks among the brothers, usually because he's the most responsible one if chances happen that Neige can't cook that day. Usually likes to take the flavors to a umami side. Dominic's only weakness is confusing the order of ingredients or preparation, which is why he's stuck with the cooking book on his hands the entire time.
Gran: 8/10. The best one of the group but he only makes soups because it's what Neige personally taught him and it doesn't seem necessary to do anything else. But Gran can turn anything into soup and it will feel like someone came into your house and cleaned everything just right, leaving absolute no mess for you to worry over.
Hop: 5/10. Can cook decently but is easily distracted by the music he listens to while doing stuff. Imagine getting into the kitchen and Hop is performing a one-man-musical of Phantom Of The Opera and there's a pot boiling or a cake burning behind him.
Snick: 6/10. Good cook but he sneezes a lot and, despite the camaraderie from dorm mates, he refuses to let the kitchen spiral into a toxic germ warzone. Bottom line is: Snick doesn't cook much. Lowkey he doesn't like to cook that much either. So, anything to get out of the kitchen is a gem of a excuse!
Shelpy: 3/10. Cooking hazard due to sudden sleepiness, still working with Neige to overcome that. Just like Snick, dislike cooking and would be much more happy if eating was just a easier activity all together. Thinks surviving solely on picked fruits, berries and herbs is better because, in a way, you don't need to cook anything.
Timmy: 7/10. Can cook just as good as Dominic and it's the third option when the formers aren't avaliable. Timmy likes sweets but is forced by society to prepare healthy meals. Compliments are good but avoid doing too much or Timmy will explode.
Toby: ?/?. Okay. Neige tries to teach him to cook (so he doesn't fall behind the others and grows up properly) but after all those years, it's rather unclear if Toby is just naturally prone to disasters or he just does things for the heck of it. Not malicious. Not stupid. Just "what happens when I do this?". Also thinks carbs are little bits of carbon and almost put a spoon in the microwave once.
If Twst do a full staff reveal, I'll make a part 3~!

I personally think that the ārevealā of the RSA boys (that we HAVENT SEEN YET prior to Book 8) may go in reveal of the associated lore in TWST. This doesnāt apply to Chenya or Rielle, but really just the housewarden silhouette lineup.
I could be horribly wrong (and make this entire ask moot) but in Book 3, we first heard about Rielle. And (I think?) somewhere after, we heard about Kalimās mysterious cousin whoās royalty. These two characters ended up being the first to show up in Book 8 (so, housewardens 3 and 4), which is objectively a weird appearance order, but it is in order of when they were āmentionedā earlier in TWST.
SO (stay with me here I promise I have a point somewhereā) my personal opinion is that housewarden 6 (aka Megboy) will the the next to appear bc I very vaguely remember TWST mentioning a rival company to STYX, I think Olympus Tech? And maybe Leona mentioned that there are more Lion beastfolk in the royal family, so maybe Nalad is a distant relative?
Thatās as far as I remember, maybe thereās more vague lore-drops on Alice-Lad. I would also personally like it if they dropped Neige, not sure exactly where he fits in this theory, since he has technically been released w some lore? This theory may not hold any water but itās been bouncing in my head like the dvd logo and I HAD TO TELL THE PEOPLE š£ļøš£ļøš£ļø

I think it's interesting this theory of "order of mentioning", really wish I could verify it 100% just to be sure (I'm the eternal 'this is suspicious' person lol). Bc I feel that Kalim mentioned his royal cousin in a personal story, not the main... but maybe I'm misremembering.
I also feel like Olympus Tech would relate more for Hercules but family relations are already muddy in the movie and Twst likes to take liberties when writing the ways two or more characters know each other (like Neige and Vil are family-independent from one another, meanwhile the Evil Queen was Snow's step-mother and who knows what Trein and Twst!Cinderella will be).
And not to forget the RSA boys are a mix of the Disney protag couple they're basically their sons atp lmao. So will Megboy relate to Idia in a family level, like Hercules is Hades' nephew? Or will his family be related to STYX as in working for them, like Megara had a contract with the underworld? Sorry, I'm getting off topic lol

I don't remember where he said that... I never got to read the Afterglow Savanah event </3 or maybe it was very long ago in the main story? But now that's interesting also!
Nalad is another one I just need to know what his deal is, more for peace of mind bc he's becoming this huge equation in the Kingscholar family soap opera in terms of story ideas. Bro could be anything. Family friend, distant relative, no relation whatsoever, completely separated from Twst child!Nala...
So, what do we know? It's 4 event, 7 guys. 2 already went out, there's 5 let. So we could have 2 for Magift, 2 for Mystic Mortar (since it's potion-based, Vil is one of the theorized to be there so maybe Neige comes in this batch) and 1 for Seeker's Gathering.
Either they leave 1 for MM or 1 for SG. Magift is a no-no bc it's the precise event where they need to show the power of friendship and see if gets to be trampled down by NRC new found power of "we need to work together against common enemy" they got on book 7.

I really really wanted to see Housewarden no. 4 aka Minajael, but now that we have him and Rielle, I really REALLY want to see Neige. Since itās gotten confirmed that he is a Housewarden, I just want more lore on him especially now! Iām also really curious about Megboy and what his design will look like. The update canāt come soon enough š„²
You made a really good point about the family relations in TWST - itās usually a little remixed, so Iām wondering if/how Megboy would be related to Idia/the Shroud family? Maybe itās another āin-debtā situation similar to Meg in the movie? I may be reading too much into it but color me curious š
A lot of the āmentioningā of characters (like Kalimās cousin, etc) happens in the vignettes/personal stories/limited time events I think. Itās also a little hard for me to recall where exactly I recall the info as well, so if anyone remembers/can fact check me I def appreciate it!! š the only one Iām certain of, is Rielle being name-dropped in Book 3 when Octavinelle is talking about the photo Azul wanted us to retrieve.
Tbh I may be misremembering Leona mentioning stuff about family. I feel like I remember him mentioning royal family stuff (specifically with extended relatives and family reunions? Maybe I hallucinated it???) Nalad really could be anything. The possibilities are SO endless. Iām also wondering, since (theoretically, highly likely) Nalad is twisted from Nala, maybe weāll get more palace lore on the guards/security?
I do hope the TWST overlords devs do release more of the silhouetted characters. Maybe if they do release two at a time per update, they could drum up even more hype for the remaining unreleased housewarden? Iām also wondering if theyāll release other dorm members soon. While we do know the housewarden silhouettes (and roughly who they are based off), we donāt know their dorm members (if there are any). It could be as simple as a namedrop, headcount, or even an actual character design!

Don't we all need more about Neige? Ever since he showed up in that lil ad in ch5, I loved him instantly <3 Maybe I'm putting the car ahead of the horses but I see no reason why Charblanche's dorm uniform won't be one of the best ones! At least I see the potential!!
The in-debt thing could be interesting... one thing I think it's for sure it's that they probably are on distance acquaintances terms bc given Idia's backstory, he only had Ortho as a friend for the longest time. Both of them are a very promising dynamic, I think!
If they're going through this route, it's actually a interesting move to catch us by surprise!
Lore on the guards/securities would be great too. I also remember seeing somewhere the suggestion that by his very specific hair braid and the tail, Nalad could be Pumbaa (which would be the funniest outcome) but since NPC Tim Kamba dropped, the chances are slimmer than ever on that front. Merrylad and him are the most puzzling, right?? When the devs want to be mysterious, they get into it lol
I'm putting all my hopes on sneak peaks (or dare I hope, something more) for the event on June 21 š¤ especially bc I came in late for Rielle and Mina's reveal, so I want to be part of the commotion this time lol also bc that means we're half way there in terms of RSA dorm leaders, in a way...
Other dorm members would be awesome, I agree! It takes me back to the old hc days... in one of my drafts (it got lost so rip) I actually split them into important members and extra members (some were from other movies also). But like, it would be a good thing story-wise for the boys have other interactions beside the dorm leader meetings and their rivals + rest of NRC. A Twst!Sebastian to try to keep Rielle from reckless activities and a Twst!Flounder to be Rielle's unwilling companion on adventures at the "human" market (aka grocery shopping), for example...

Regarding Neige's albums idea... when I was finishing the 5th one, I lost everything š need to redo it from scratch. But it's okay! I wasn't 100% satisfied with some of them and maybe a little more time to breathe will do me some good
