i love rsa ocs, and have a ton myself but lets make one thing clear : we aren't going to as a fandom start being mean to people who had rsa ocs that now have canon characters based on the same characters like, i've had my jasmine oc for YEARS now, nobody knew we were gonna get rsa characters like six years ago when ocs were made and even if ocs have been made within just this past year ; still nobody knew. this is just something that is important to me as someone who's been making twst ocs since before i made my dedicated twst tumblr tbh and have been given all sorts of rude comments every time an oc of mine has overlapped with characters who came out later ( a jack skellington twst of mine existing for like a whole multiple of years before skully ) i just get people being nasty. lets make sure to not do that, yeah?
people were creative in this space years before and years after.
