Mondays. Common knowledge of this day that it is detested worldwide.
Yes, it's Monday afternoon and unfortunately our blue-haired, stone enthusiast was stuck in the office being half awake, slightly bleary-eyed and unfortunately having a massive workload being thrust upon him. This is what happens when Steven leaves for an extended period of time; he comes back within an inch of Devon and already has a mountain of paperwork the size of Rayquaza himself.
Least he gets his own sweet ass office though!
Nevertheless, Steven is not a man without his own pride either and was admittedly very good at what he does in the building; he’s could tally up accounts and balance cheques within mere seconds! ...What doesn’t help the situation is that it is a complete drag to do so and is even a little exhausting. A deep sigh took Steven as he glanced over all the sheets, mentally processing the direction he will take today. Anothe sigh escapes him, grabbing his cup of coffee nearby and sipping leisurely.
“I hate Mondays...” Steven mumbled to himself as he turned on his seat to look out the window behind him. Rustboro looked wondrous this time of year; plants coming into bloom and overall giving the city more life. Plus it does wonders for the economy with all the tourists rolling in!
“Krrzt! Mr. Stone! Someone is here to see you! Shall I send them up?”
Steven’s brow perked as he turned back to his desk. He definitely doesn’t have any appointments... At the same time, he doesn’t have anything better to do. With the touch of a button, he responds: “Yes, Delila. Send them in... just give me a minute to clean this desk.”. He immediately begins to tidy and sort the papers in stacks either side of his desk, making it seem a little less messy. It now looks as if there is miniature walls of paper either side though... Better than what it was! All there was to do now was to wait until the person came through.
