I think by far my favorite Rooster Teeth moment is Early episodes of Red vs. Blue. I would watch them over and over and just love them so much, it's how I found Roosterteeth in the first place. When I did find Roosterteeth, I found an incredible community of people who love and care for each other.
Eleven Years
So… Roosterteeth is eleven years of age. The big one one. Man, and I’ve only been a part of it for a year and a half, but that is probably the best year and a half I’ve ever had. These people, these dumb, silly people that live in the burning heat land called Texas bring light in my life. It all started with five guys thinking “Lets make a dumb web series thing based off Halo and post it online for EVERYONE to see!” And to have them be so successful, not just with said web series called Red vs. Blue, but with AH, RWBY, Immersion, all that stuff, it… It puts a smile on my face. These people work hard, and they deserve every fan, every support, everything that goes to them (except the hate, the hate is bad) and its just… great. Fantastic really. So RT, keep doing what your doing, because you are doing a freaking good job at it. Seriously, a caring fan…
To celebrate #RT11Years, I played Halo for the first time ever with my friends. I was awful at it but I've never had so much fun. Here's to 11 more!!
RoosterTeeth Memories
I think my best RoosterTeeth memory is going to RTX 2013.
I'd never done anything like it before, going off, on my own, to a convention quite a ways away from where I live, to meet people I'd only talked to online. I'd done cons before, and I'd travelled abroad before, but never both at the same time.
It was one of the funnest experiences I'd ever had. Meeting my friends in person was awesome. Being around that many RT fans and just being able to have so many conversations just randomly. The energy there was amazing. And I doubt I'll forget the moment at the charity auction when I turned around and "Oh yeah, that is Matt Hullum five feet behind me no big deal or anything", or gathering enough of my courage to go up to Miles and ask for a picture, which sparked enough courage to go up to other RT employees and ask them for a picture. (Which I really appreciated you guys are all awesome!)
So congrats on 11 years, Roosterteeth. Thanks for spoiling us with RvB and Immersion and cool stuff, and here's to many more years. See you at RTX 2014.
