Myra balanced herself with ease as she walked along the rubble of some dilapidated building, unsure what it had once been. She’d decided to skip the rest of school when during one of her breaks, the guy that had been bugging her for weeks decided that she needed a swollen cheek and probably intended to break some facial bones. If it weren’t for the fact that it had gotten harder to control exactly how much strength she was using recently, Myra would have broken his nose. However, she was having problems controlling her strength and so instead slipped out of school to the edge of to calm herself down before she broke something, and hopefully pass enough time that the bruise would heal to the point where she could lie and tell her parents that she’d slipped and fallen. Until then, Myra was going to be muttering profanities to herself near the forest.
