i rarely wear pretty or fancy outfits, being a professional artist and maker is messy work 😬 i'm usually stained with ink or paint, burnt by hot wax or stung by needles and covered in lint by the end of the day. it's my dream come true ❤ {grateful for every second}. this is one of my standard daily looks, super comfortable 'bb raglan' and 'nässla' skirt from raintower. the top is unisex. the beads are thrifted and the pendant is my bronze 'solar talisman', one that burned me more than any other i think when i worked on it. very fitting 🔥 ☀️{{green contacts are from @ttd_eye #ttdeye}}

🌀dream time is so essential to creativity🌀 so far this quiet year has been one of my happiest - i'm learning my boundaries and locating the places where energy is leaking out. saying no (even to people i love), being by myself more and giving more to those closest has been wonderful, a huge relief, but also a trial. i battle with feeling like i'm a disappointment and on a bad day i worry that i'll be perceived as a total bore. meanwhile the word 'introvert' has become such an internet meme that i'm not sure i dare use it to describe myself ;) i'm so grateful that i can share here, i know i don't post all that often but i can be found in 'stories' and via dm, always and would love to hear your thoughts. lace dress from my first release in raintower's new 'lost lands' collection, which will be online wednesday. when i dream of lost continents i have a sense that their wisdom isn't forgotten, only asleep for us to rekindle. we need this! i worry because it seems believing in something is currently not all that cool. politicians don't have belief systems and ideologies, they simply say or do what will gain votes and money. the same goes for the fashion world - sustainability and ethical production are becoming trendier (in theory) and with them, massive greenwashing and dangerous doublespeak instead of actual change. it's enough to instill apathy in anybody but i believe we should always act as if what we do matters, even if the light of hope and optimism is weak. this way we generate healing energy and fighting energy (both important) together and our actions --will-- matter.

our first ‘lost lands’ release is here! (on etsy). seen here 'lyonesse’ dress in sand, pale green and gold tones. this small collection of handmade, unique garments marks my first steps towards integrating the clothing line further with my paintings and jewellery work. 'lost lands’ is a wish to reflect ideals and beliefs that can bring light in a world that is currently growing darker. each garment is hand crafted by me and @lilyofthevalley.se using only recycled textile - precisely in line with a shift toward the sustainable, small scale, earth friendly (but also hopeful, groovy, idealistic) that our planet needs.
